Crystal Wings

The Intruder

    

     Today is 4 realm day which means that anyone from another realm can enter and anyone from this realm who wishes to leave can. But there is a catch, anyone who enters must be in pocession of an Eather crystal and anyone who leaves must have authorization from the queen herself.

     I wish I could leave, just once, I don't use my powers and I hide my wings, I don't want to be called weird. Even here in the Eather, which is like the heaven of Minecraftia, having wings or powers is NOT normal; being and elemental is kind of normal though...

     I was lost in my thoughts when Crystal and Jake walked in, they're my best friends and the only ones who know my secret. Jake has brown hair with a streak of white in his bangs, he wore a gray creeper hoodie with black jeans and white converse. Crystal has blonde curly hair that has light blue streaks in it. Her hair was tied into an untidy side ponytail with a crystal bow in it. She wore a light blue strapless top, white shorts and light blue boots.

     "Lea, someone entered the portal and they didn't have an Eather crystal...", tried to say Jake but Crystal interrupted, finishing his sentence, "And the guards can't find him!", finished Crystal as my eyes widened. Nobody who was mortal had been able to get pass those guards, ever, they use to work for Notch. This guy must have been good.

   "But nobody had been able to get past them since... Hero...", I was interrupted by Jake who covered my mouth, "Don't say his name", he said removing his hand from my mouth, "Don't.Ever.Put. Your. Hand.On.My.Mouth.Again", I said as he backed away and Crystal started laughing, we joined her after a few seconds, "Well, what are we waiting for? let's help them out", I said and they nodded, "How about we take the high road?", said Crystal with a smirk on her face, I glared at her but nodded.

     We went outside and made sure no one was looking. "Clear", said Jake. I nodded, took a deep breath and spread my wings, "It's been a long time", I said and lifted myself off the ground, "Did you bring your weapons?", I asked landing back on the ground, they nodded. "Well, let's go, climb on", I said as they climbed on, "Ready?", "Ready", "Hold on", I said and lifted myself off the ground again. "Jake... when I said hold on... I didn't mean choke me", I said and coughed,"Sorry", he said lightening his grip.

We flew over the village's cloud for a few minutes. (Yes, we live in the clouds, every village is a different cloud with a different portal). "Hey, who's that?", asked Crystal pointing at a brown haired man who wore a cyan colored shirt with blue jeans and black shoes, "I don't know, but I'm going to find out; hold on tight", I said darting downwards as they screamed, I landed on the ground lighly infront of the man, he jumped back and started running as Jake and Crystal got off me and we ran behind him. "I've had just about enough of this", I said lifting myself up in the air as I lifted myself off the ground and landed in front of him as he fell back. Jake and Crystal were in front of him shortly after. I didn't tuck in my wings, I extended them so he would fear me a little more.

     "Who are you and why are you here?", I asked sternly as he stared at me in awe, "She asked you a question", Crystal said sternly, he snapped out of his trance, "I'm Steve", he replied getting up. "I found the portal and went through it, now guards are after me. Something tells me you're a guard", he said as I tucked in my wings. "We're not guards", said Jake gripping his diamond sword tightly,"You're not? Then why are you after me?", said Steve confused, "Because, first, you ran away from the guards and that is considered a crime and, second, you don't have an Eather crystal and on this day, the day of the 4 realms, you can't be here without an Eather crystal", I said and put away my daggers.

    "Ok, that's... A lot that I didn't know. So if they catch me... I'm going to jail?!", said Steve and I covered his mouth, he then pushed it away, "Okay, I'm calm", he said, "That would be correct. So we need to get you out of here", I said and Jake and Crystal's eyes widened, "But he's a criminal", they both said pointing at Steve. He slightly backed away. "He didn't know", I said and Steve gave me a friendly smile, I smiled back. Jake and Crystal glared at Steve but put their weapons away.

     We got to the portal building and there were more guards than usual. "There is no way we can get past them", Steve said quietly. "That's where you're wrong, 'cause Lea here knows magic", said Jake. I blushed slightly. "Is that true? you know magic?", asked Steve I nodded and his jaw dropped. "Most of us Eather, Ender and Nether beings are elementals and changelings, but I'm a glitch, that is why I have magic and wings, I also have telekinesis. But I don't use my powers, I don't want to be called weird", I said. Steve was speechless. Crystal and Jake were quietly laughing at Steve's expression.

"How are we going to do this?", Jake asked. "We could knock them out and make them dream as if they were never knocked out", I replied and waved my hand in front of Steve. He shook his head," Yea, you do that", he said a little dumbfounded. I giggled and used a nightwing spell to knock out the guards.

Jake grabbed my arm before we ran in,"Lea, maybe... **sigh**... Maybe you should go with him... You've always dreamed of going to other realms... This is your chance, go", he said and tears whiled up in his eyes, "But...", I was interrupted by Crystal,"No buts, go", said Crystal with tears in her eyes,"Do you really mean it?", I said, they nodded, "Thanks", I said and we did a group hug, we broke apart after about a minute, "We'll miss you, good luck", they said as Crystal had tears running down her cheeks, I waved goodbye, a few tears running down my cheeks as well as we entered the building.

"You three are best friends arent you?", said Steve smiling at me as I dried my tears and nodded, "They are like my family, considering I don't have one", I said, muttering the last part. "Why?", Steve asked carefully. "My father abandoned me when I was ten, I don't know why", I said and shrugged. "I don't know my parents, I spawned and they were already gone. I don't even know who they are, why they abandoned me, or how they look. I never even heard their voices", he finished and sighed looking down.

When he finished his sentence, we entered a room that was very well lit with glowstone. It's walls were made of lapiz lazuli and the floor was made of clouds and light blue wool. It was beautiful. The portal was in the center of the room and it was surrounded by flowers. Steve was, once again, speechless, "You ready?", I asked, he nodded and we jumped in together, this is the start of something amazing...
