In Lawrence Kansas at the Winchester's resident 22 years ago, Mary Winchester carrying her son Dean Winchester walks into Sammy and Eliza's nursery to say good night before they hit the hay. "Come on, let's say good night to your brother and sister, and then it's off to bed for you young man "says Mary as she enters their nursery turning on the light.

Mary and Dean approached Sammy's crib as Mary puts Dean down to kiss his brother's forehead saying "night Sammy" and Mary bends down to kiss Sammy's forehead and says "night love" and then they moved over to Eliza's crib, Dean leans over and kisses Eliza's forehead and says "night Eliza" and Mary bends down and leaves a kiss as well saying "night my sweet princess".

John Winchester appears in the doorway of the nursery saying "Hey Dean". Dean turns away from his sister crib at the sound of his father's voice. "Daddy" says Dean running to his father and John picks him up as he says "Hey buddy". "You think Sammy and Eliza are ready to toss a football around yet?" asks John. Dean chuckles and says "No daddy". John chuckles and says "no".

After Mary making sure Eliza and Sammy are tuck in for the night, she turns to Dean and John and asks "you got him?" John hugs Dean tightly and says to Mary "yeah, I got him" John says as Mary leaved the nursery to go to bed. As John gets ready to leave the nursery he says "sweet dreams Eliza, Sammy as he turns off the light and leaves the nursery with Dean in his arms proceeding to Dean's bedroom to put Dean to bed and going downstairs to watch TV unaware of the events about to take place.

Back inside the nursery, both babies are still wide awake. Eliza and Sammy's mobiles above their cribs start spinning as they watch it go around and around, then the clock on the wall stops ticking and the night light in their room starting flicking as well causing interference to the baby monitor in Mary and John's room.

Thus awaking Mary from her slumber, she wakes up and looks over to her husband's side of the bed to ask him to go check on the kids discovering he's not in bed. Mary pulls the covers back and gets out of bed to go check on the kids. Back in the nursery a man with yellow eyes has appear in the room walking over to Eliza and Sammy's crib but before the demon could do anything to the kids Mary appears outside of the nursery seeing a man in the nursery.

Mary thinking its John asks "Are they hungry?" The man hushes Mary and she says "okay" turning back around to go back to bed when the flicking of the night lamp catches her attention, when the demon sees Mary has disappear, he approaches Eliza's crib first and stands over it when a knife in hand proceeding to cut his wrist allowing his two drops of his demon blood to go into her mouth.

He moves over to Sammy's crib and puts two drop of his blood in his mouth as well. Back into the hallway, Mary is tapping the lamp to get it to stop flicking. As she turns to go back to bed, another flicking of light catches her attention, she walks halfway downstairs to see the television on with John fast sleeping in a chair.

As soon as Mary discovers that they man in her babies nursery isn't John, she rushes back upstairs yelling "Sammy, Eliza." Mary arrives at the nursery seeing the yellow eye man standing in front of her babies cribs. "You", Mary says shock as the demon looks over at her.

Before she has a chance to scream for John, the demon throws Mary against the wall and begins to sliding her up the wall to the ceiling pining her there. Mary screams as the demon slashing her across the stomach. After the demon has done what he came to do. He disappears from the room.

Back downstairs John has awaken after hearing the scream from Mary and he rushes upstairs to the nursery calling "Mary". He opens the door to the nursery seeing everything in order, thinking the scream was a dream. He approaching Eliza's crib and then Sammy's crib checking to make sure they're okay. "Hey guys, it's okay" says John to both of his kids.

While John is checking to make sure both of his kids are okay, a drop of blood from the ceiling drops down into Sammy's crib as John takes notice of it wondering where it came from, when more drops on blood on top of his hand. John looks up at the ceiling to see his wife pin to the ceiling with a slash across her stomach. He screams "no Mary" as the ceiling burst into flames covering the ceiling causing John to fall onto the floor staring up at her screaming "no Mary" over and over again.

All the noise in the nursery causing both Eliza and Sammy to start crying alerting John he isn't alone. He picks up both sibling and goes outside the nursery to see Dean running up to him saying "Daddy." John hands both of his kids to Dean and states "Dean take your brother and sister outside as fast as you can and don't looked back" "Now Dean go" John says to Dean.

Dean turns around to go downstairs with both siblings in hand outside the house, stopping outside the front door under the nursery seeing golden embers inside as he tells his sibling" It's okay guys, I'm got you." After seeing Dean leave, John goes back inside the nursery to see the flames covering the entire ceiling and Mary trying to reach for her.

After discovering that Mary is gone and that there isn't anything he can do about, he rushes downstairs making his way out the front door grabbing his kids says " I've got you" as the nursery explosive into flames as they run to the impala . Minutes later paramedics, police officers and fire trucks arrive on the scene.

The firefighters pull up in front of the house and get out to starting pulling hosing out and connecting to a fire hydrant, then turning it where the water is coming out. They approach the house with the hose in hand and start trying to put the fire out coming from the nursery.

Neighbors have come out of their house to see the commotion outside. They walked over to the house trying to see where the fire is coming from when police officers are telling them to stay back.

As the firefighters succeed at putting the fire out, a brokenhearted John is sitting across the street on the hood of the impala holding Dean, baby Sammy and baby Eliza. A lot of questions are going through John's head as he looks over at the remains of his house wondering what the hell had happen and what took his wife?

John is determined to find answers to his question to get revenge on his wife's death. When John finally discovers what's out there and how to kill it, when his kids are old enough, he will begin training them to fight the supernatural so he can get the demon back for tearing his family apart. Thus the hunting of the yellow demon begins. Will the Winchester family find the yellow eye demon before he takes another life?
