Badgerpaw's Defiance

Prolouge

So yeah! I'm finally writing again xD so this will be in a 'non-cannon' universe, because it probably will never happen in the books! Anyway, here is the Prolouge for Badgerpaw's defiance! btw                 "Earth-shake" means earthquake.

Bramblestar walked through a shadowy forest, he was asleep, or so he thought. Firestar burst through the bushes. "Bramblestar!" He meowed, his voice urgent. "What is it Firestar? What's wrong?" Bramblestar asked. "You died... you must come with me to Starclan, now. I have to explain to you what happened." Firestar said, more urgency in his voice than before. "Oka-Wait I died!? How!?" Bramblerstar snapped. "I'll explain when we get to Starclan. It's not safe here!" Firestar said and raced off. Eventually they got to Starclan, and Bramblestar stopped. "What happened to the clans? I'm not moving until you tell me whats going on!" He snapped. "There was a big earth-shake," Firestar started. "What?" Bramblestar's eyes widened. "And a lot of cats died, including you. They were crushed by trees, the lake flooded, drowning a lot of sleeping cats. The tunnels caved in, and windclan cats fell in... And suffocated. Almost every cat died, actually." Firestar sighed. "Either they regroup, and find a new home to live in... Or they won't survive." Bramblestars' ears were flattened to his head. "W-why did this happen?" He asked. "I don't know, Bramblestar. I just don't know..." "Will it happen again do you think?" Bramblestar asked. "Maybe, maybe not. There is no telling what the ground will do now, just know that Starclan is powerless to stop it." Bramblestar's ears drooped. "But know that Starclan will stay with the cats of our old clans, well... Not clans, not clans anymore. we'll just stay with the cats." Not clans anymore? Bramblestar gasped, and his legs caved in. "No more clans?" He whimpered. "I've never seen you so weak, Bramblestar. And no. Only a few cats from each clan survived, so unless they create clans again, there are no more clans." Bramblestar weakly nodded. "Let's go find Bluestar, Yellowfang, and Cinderpelt, they're guiding the others to Starclan. We can help them." Firestar said gently, pushing Bramblestar to his paws. As Firestar walked off, Bramblestar finally started moving, and sullenly padded after him, like a kit who just got scolded.
