"No...no." Charlotte said emotionless. Chrissy dropped to the floor. She silently cried, "No...why is this happening..." Charlotte just stood there emotionless. "Ellie...please.." Chrissy cried.
Charlotte put her back to the wall. She slid to floor. Her heart beat beated slowly. Her face had no emotion. Her mind stopped working. Nothing went through her mind. "Stop...stop..." Charlotte whispered. A single tear went down her face. "Not again..." Her voiced cracked.
Charlotte started to breakdown. She sniffled. "I SAID STOP!!!" She yelled in tears. She shot up to her feet. Her hair was covering her eyes. "Charlotte?" Chrissy said through her crying as she looked at Charlotte.
Charlotte ripped the papers off the board. She ripped them to shreds. She let them blow away out of the window. "What are you doing?!" Chrissy yelled. Charlotte pinned Chrissy to the wall. "We never speak of this!" Charlotte yelled through her gritted teeth.
Chrissy looked at Charlotte in fright, "This isn't like you...what's wrong?!" Charlotte gripped her harder, "We never speak of this!!" Chrissy yelped, "Okay! Okay! Let go!" Charlotte let go of her and Chrissy fell to the floor.
Charlotte speed walked to class emotionless. Her face was hard to read.
RINGGGG
As the bell rung the hallway filled.
~~~~~~~~~~
Charlotte sat in chemistry class. Her face dull and solemn. Oliver sat next to her with the same face. His eye twitched. They already finished their assignment so they sat their in silence.
Oliver tapped on the desk. Suddenly he stopped tapping. He froze for a second. Charlotte looked at him. His eyes widened, his veins popped, and his face was red. It looked as if he was choking.
Charlotte watched him for a second. She was curious if what was happening. Suddenly Oliver started breathing heavy. His tensed body started to calm down. He began to tap in the desk again.
"What was that? It looked as if he was choking. But on what?" Charlotte thought to herself.
RINGGGGG
The bell rang and everyone headed out of class. "Don't forget the homework!" The teacher shouted. Charlotte got up to leave. She put her backpack on and went for the door.
Suddenly Oliver grabbed her hand. She froze in fright. She tensed up. His hand was so cold and sweaty.
"Char...Charlotte.." Oliver stuttered. Charlotte looked at him. He was in the same condition as before. He looked as if he was choking. He had veins popping out, his face was red, and he was tense. "Chrissy's next..." He said through his gritted teeth.
Suddenly he started breathing hard. He let go of her hand and started to calm down. He shook his head. Charlotte didn't know what to do with that information. She was shocked and confused with the information he gave her. "I..I..I got to go to lunch..." Charlotte stuttered. She ran out the classroom.
Charlotte quickly ran to her locker to get her lunchbox. Then she stopped for a moment in front of her locker. "What if Kegan laid a trap in there again? What if its another threat. I have to brace myself." Charlotte braced herself as if something was going to hit her.
Once she opened it...nothing was there though. A small note was on top of her lunchbox though. "Should I look through it? No! It could be bad....well.... What if its a clue to find Violet?" Charlotte opened it anyways.
It read:
Hey Charlotte. It is Wendy. I hop u like the necklas. I gav 1 to Markus 2. He liked it. We r such good friends.She realized that it was a note from years ago. The spelling was like a kindergartners and it was on crayon.
Charlotte felt something fall from the note. It clattered onto the hallway floor. She quickly picked it up to see what it was. It was a heart shaped necklace. The heart was the middle of a broken heart. The heart read the letters, "get". Charlotte gasped, "I...I remember.... It was a three way heart... No way."
Another thing fell out of the note. It fell to the hole floor facing up. It was a picture o three kids. Charlotte picked it up. She was shocked, "I remember this..." It was the day when her class went to the park. Wendy's cousin tried to take a picture of Wendy but Charlotte and Markus photo bombed her. Charlotte held the picture tight. It gave her good memories.
Charlotte quickly put both of the things into her pocket and whispered, "Don't worry Wendy, everything will be okay." Charlotte ran to the cafeteria.
Once she got there her friends were waiting for her. "Yo, Char! You're late!" Derrick yelled from the other side of the room. "I'm coming!" Charlotte said running to them. She put away all her thoughts of Wendy to the side. She didn't want any distractions.
Jake sat near Chrissy eating his lunch. Charlotte gritted her teeth and glared at him. She quietly sat down holding in her anger. Jake looked at her in innocency, "What's wrong? Having a bad day?" Derrick gripped his hand, "Leave her alone." Jake looked offended, "You don't have to be defensive."
Chrissy said nothing. Her face was solemn and dreary. "What's up with Chrissy?" Derrick whispered to Charlotte. Charlotte broke the news to Derrick, "Elisha was kidnapped yesterday. It's because I was too stupid to think of a plan to save us yet." Charlotte gritted her teeth in anger. She clawed at her palms. She was mad at herself for not saving them in time. She was angry about her own weakness.
Derrick stood their traumatized. He gave the most death looking glare at Jake. "You did this!! You did this didn't you?!?!" Derrick yelled. Derrick jumped over the table and tackled Jake. Jake's chair fell to the floor as Derrick tackled him. All eyes were on them.
"What are you talking about?!" Jake said acting innocent. "What are you doing?!" Chrissy said in alert. Charlotte pulled Derrick off of Jake, "Stop, he's not worth it. " Derrick growled but calmed down because he knew that Charlotte was right. Chrissy helped Jake up.
Charlotte smiled slyly, "Don't worry....I have a plan to save us all." Derrick looked at her in confusion. He looked at her like she was crazy, "A plan? What's the plan?" Charlotte cracked her knuckles, "First we need a box of chocolate and a list of how we want to get tortured." Derrick had no idea what was going on but he went with it, "Okay, fine. I'll get the chocolate, you make the list."
