-----the next morning-----

I woke up and luckily my dad left for work. I checked my phone and I got a text from Kaitlynn.
K: Dude I'm buying tickets to the BVB concert want to come?
B: no I'm fine I don't want to see them. My brother will be there
K: Ya we know but why don't you come and see him with us?
B: because I'm not going to see him after he left for 4 years without any contact.
K: okay

I sighed and started to get dressed. I wore a Falling in Reverse shirt. I put on my black leather jacket on. With black skinny jeans. I put on my black Nikes. I grabbed my black backpack. I walked down stairs. I grabbed an apple. Then I left the house to school.

----couple minutes past----

I finally got to the h*ll hole. Once I walked inside people have me death glares while they talked. I put in my headphones and turned up my music all the way up. I didn't care if others could hear it. I was listening to Wretched and Diven story of the wild ones album.

I would always get in trouble with my teacher. Of course because we can't have are phones on school. I'm only 9 and I don't care. We where in the middle of the lesson I started to draw a picture from the movie Legion of Black. Then my teacher came over and told me to take me headphones off. Of course I took them off but u hide one on my palm of my hand and put it near my ears so I could still listen to it.

A couple minutes pass and I'm still drawing. Then my teacher came back over and sent me too the principal. Me being me I didn't listen. So I got up and just left the school.

I walked over to Jades house because she is home schooled. I knocked on the door. And jades mom answered.
"Oh hi Brooklyn aren't you supposed to be in school?" She asked. But it sounded like she really didn't care. Because I always come here when I get in trouble.
"Ya but I got in trouble so they sent me home and my dad isn't home so I came here. Is it okay if I hang out with Jade" She nodded and let me inside. I walked upstairs to Jades room.
"Where them girl at?!" I yelled.
"them girl right here" she answered walking out from her walk in closet. We always yell this when we first meet up. It like a hello or hi type of thing.
"Got in trouble again?" She asked. I nodded.
"All I did was listen to music" I explained.
"You going to BVB concert tonight?!" She asked. I shook my head no. "Why?" She sounded sad.
"Because it's my brothers band. And I'm not going to see him after 4 years without contact or anything. So tell me why I should go?" I almost yelled.
"Sorry I forgot about that" she said.
"It's okay" I replied more calmly.

For the next couple hours we talked about songs. We are starting to write are own songs.

"What song are we going to cover next?" Jade asked.
"Pittsburgh by the Aminty Affliction" I answered. (A/n ya I know Pittsburgh wouldn't have been around that long ago)
"I love that song" She said.
"Me too" I agree.
"I already know the bass part"
"Good" I said. I checked the time. "Well I have to go"
"Okay bye" she replied as I walked downstairs and left her house.

I quickly walked home. Once I got home my dad started to yell at me.
"Where the h*ll have you been!!!" He yelled.
"I was at a friends house" I replied. Then he slapped me. And he started to hit, slap, and kick me. I was used to it. But it still hurt.

After he was done beating me I ran up to my room and cried myself to sleep.
