I'm sorry that this may be sad to you
Mitch's POV:
Scott has been acting very strange lately and I don't know why. I was sitting on the couch next to him. He keeps texting someone. I looked over and he was smiling. "Who are you texting, Scott?" "Oh no one. Don't worry about it." I frowned. I continued watching Spongbob. "Hey I'm going out tonight with a couple of my friends," Scott said, still looking at his phone. "Can I come?" "Uh not this time boo. I'm sorry," Scott said, standing up. He started walking away. "So I'm gonna stay home alone?" Scott stopped and turned around. "You got Wyatt." He turned back around and walked into the bedroom. I looked over at Wyatt. I kneeled down beside him. "You won't leave me, would you?" Wyatt looked up at me. He rubbed against me. I picked him up and placed him on my lap. He laid down. I patted him. Scott came out of the bedroom. He was dressed nicely. "Alright I'm going. Just call me if you need me," Scott said, grabbing his keys. "Okay," I said, quietly. Scott opened up the door and left. I'm all alone. I stood up. All of a sudden, there was a flash of lightning. I flinched cause I'm afraid of storms. Usually Scott would cuddle with me until it was over to make me feel better. There was a loud thunder. The power went out. I turned on my flashlight on my phone. I decided to call Kirstin. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. I opened it up and Kirstin was standing there. She walked inside and I shut the door. "Hey Mitch," Kirstin said, taking off her jacket. "I'm scared Kirstin," I said, my voice was shaky. "It's okay Mitch. Let's sit on the couch." We walked over to the couch. "We should light some candles so we can see around the house," Kirstin said. I got up and flashed my light at two candles. I looked around for matches. I lit both candles and brought them over to the couch. I put them on the night stands. I heard thunder again and I jumped on the couch. Kirstin wrapped her arms around me. I wrapped my arms around her and put my head on her chest. "It's okay Mitch." I started crying. How could Scott not come back when he knows I'm scared? "Mitch, what's wrong?" "Scott hasn't been acting the same. He left me alone..didn't come back while it was thundering." "Call him." "Okay." I grabbed my phone and called Scott. Straight to voicemail. I started shaking as a flash hit again. Finally the lights came back on. I looked around. "Do you still want me to stay Mitch?" Kirstin asked. "Yes please." "Let's watch SpongeBob. You're favorite show," she said, turning on the tv. She went on On Demand and looked for SpongeBob. We sat there, watching SpongeBob. A half hour later, Scott walked through the door. He looked over at me and Kirstin. "Oh hey guys. Kirstin what are you doing here?" Scott asked. Kirstin stood up. "Helping Mitch when you wouldn't," she said, crossing her arms. I stood up. Kirstin turned and faced me. "Text me if you need help." "Thanks Kirstin." We hugged and she left. "What was all that about?" Scott asked, laughing. I walked down the hall, not saying anything. I went into the bedroom and slammed the door shut. I sat down on the bed. Moments later, the door opened. "Mitch, is everything okay?" Scott asked, entering the room. "How could you leave me alone and then not come back when it was thundering?" I asked, tears pouring down my face. "I'm sorry Mitch." "I tried calling you but you didn't pick up." Scott looked at me and sighed. "My friend didn't want me having my phone on." "Scott...Boo, why have you been so secretive lately?" "It's nothing, really." "You always take me out. You never leave me home alone. You're changing Scott. I want the truth." "I've been dating this guy named Alex." My heart shattered. Tears poured down my face....
