Just the beginning

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing loud in my ear I frowned another day of school man how i hated school great I got up to do my regular morning routine I got up walked to the bathroom turned the water on i stripped out of my clothes i hopped into the water right away feeling the warmth on my body I put shampoo in my long dark brown hair I rinised it I did the same with conditioner i turned the water off and got of the shower I wrapped my body with a towel i went into my walk in closet grabbed a pair of black tights and a white tank top i put on some mascara, some eyeliner and some clear lipstick I straightened my hair I looked in the mirror pleased with my look I heard a knock downstairs so I walked downstairs and opened the door to see my bestfriend april there "hey chula" "hi babygirl" I grabbds my bag and my phone I walked outside and we started our walk to school we were both seniors we known each other since we were about three "I met a guy" april said" breaking the silence "omg whats his name? where at? is he cute?" I piled her with questions she laughed at how excited I was "Devour but were just friends for now" she winked " I just want to get to know him first and I met him at a party hes a under ground rapper and yes hella cute" we both squealed we arrived at school we walked inside to our lockers I opened my locker to put my books in April had her locker right next to mines her phone beeped she had a big smile on her face i was guessing it was devon I think thats his name "what he say?" I laughed and wiggled my eyebrows at her she slapped my arm playfully "he said he wants to hang out today" she squealed "Are you gonna go with him?" "duhh" she said like if i was stupid "oh okay have fun you have to tell me everything after your date" "Its not a date" the bell rang signalling that it was time to go to the first period of the day we have have three periods a day two hours long we both had english together we sat in our usual seats we sat two hours hearing Mrs.Lopez talk the whole time and of course april was texting whats his face the whole time the class went by pretty fast we walked out "she was boring" april said rolling her eyes "it could have been worse" I laughed "I mean you were texting your crush the whole time " "oh shush" she giggled "well I have to go to my next class bye love" we both walked away I walked to my math class I sat in my usual seat the class began and he started to do these hard math problems I didn't really get math it was my worst subject i decided to go on my phone and go on facebook we were in the middle of class when a girl walked in looking lost "Um my name is maria im suppose to be in here" she pulled out a paper and handed it to him The teacher took the paper she gave him "Sit next to katie, katie raise your hand" I raised my hand so she know who I was she smiled at me and sat next to me in the empty seat theres always been an empty seat next to me you see I didn't have many friends I never really did I only had one friend April I was happy with her I didn't care if I was popular or not but I had her I use to get bullied alot well I still kind of do but not as much as when i was small now and then I would get called fat but I knew I wasn't big like they said but I also knew I wasn't skinny I had curves but I didn't care what people said most of the time it was just mainly this girl name leslie april always told me she was just jealous of me but i never belived her i was cut out of my thoughts with the girl next to me talking to me
"So um your katie right?" "yup" I popped the "p" "your maria right?" "yes" "so what school did you come from?" "um some school in England"
"oh thats cool whats it like over there? "its wonderful just wish I never moved" she looked sad "whats wrong love?" "I just miss it over there alot especially my boyfriend" "oh I'm so sorry don't be sad though" I really was though I don't know if she could tell she just smiled and changed the subject "its okay so we have what after this?" "we have lunch next"
"oh" she looked sad again "whats wrong?" I asked "well you see I just got here and I don't have any friends yet" she looked embarrassed "oh but if you want you can hang out with me and bestfriend april?" i smiled at her she had this big smile on her face "I-I'd love that" she stuttered "then its settled we only have three minutes anyways we'll pick her up after shes really great" we talked more I learned her boyfriends name was bryan the bell rang we walked to go pick up april she looked confused
"hey kat whose this?" she said a little rude "um this-" maria cut me off "I'm maria you must be april?" she smiled "yes and nice to meet you Maria" "I heard alot about you april" april laughed "all good I hope" "oh shut up you know I love you april" "I love you to Katie"
we laughed "so maria um do you know where anything is?" "no just the class i had right now" "alright follow us" we showed her around
we all got lunch we sat at our usual table "this food looks kind of gross" Maria laughed "we told you not to get that" april laughed I gave her some of my food "thanks katie" "your welcome" we were having a convo when leslie came "hi I'm leslie you must be the new girl?" she smiled at maria the fake side of her is showing "hey yes I am I'm maria she looked at me and april "eww what are you doing with that" she laughed and pointed to me I just looked down "come with us were way better than this fat lard" again talking to me I hated that she was trying to get maria to go with them "um?" Maria looked at me and to leslie "come on you don't want to be friends with a whale you can be popular like us and you would be able to get any guy you want" all her friends laughed and some other people that were listening to our conversation maria got up and grabbed her tray she was going with them I justed wanted to cry she threw her tray away she came back "i'm sorry katie" "Its fine" april looked pissed "alright now lets go before you catch some kind of disease from it" she laughed her annoying laugh its so fake anyone can tell "no" maria said me and april looked up shocked "what did you say?" leslie spat "I said no I'm here with my friends why would I wanna be with a bitch like you" she was sticking up for me april usually did that "y-you cunt don't you ever talk to me like you can stay with your rat of a friends" maria looked mad she was in leslie's face now it happened so fast she slapped leslie "fuck you go to hell bitch if you talk to any of us like that again you will regret IT!"
