#chapter10

NIKKI TAYLOR HOWELL

"yeah... im good." i lean onto jacks chest and he puts his chin on the top of my head. "are we still going on our date?"

"no, im thinking.. i'll stay over here and we are going to watch netflix all night." he smirks at me and looks down. "i know you love video games so we might play some too."

"YES VIDEO GAMES." i yell and we both start to laugh."im gonna go change into something comfortable. you can go start looking for something on netflix." i throw him a smile and push him out the room.

i go to my closet and put on some grey sweatpants, a sports bra, and my smosh games hoodie.

i walk into the living to see jack scrolling through some shows.

i jump onto the couch next to him. "later close to midnight we are going to play some horror games for the immersion."

"oh yay.. horror games. i aint scared of some horror games."

"mhmm. sure. im gonna laugh to death when you shit your pants from jumpscares."

jack continues to scroll through some shows and movies and he finds Orange is the New Black.

"here we go. not the most romantic movie but this will work." he grabs a blanket and wraps us in the blanket and we cuddle.

THREE EPISODES LATER

i check the time and its about 9:30.

"hey want to go get something to eat." jack asks.

"yeah sounds good."

"where to?" he gets up and stretches his back out.

"chik-fil-a?"

"sure. after you." he smiles opening the door.

"one second." i grab my phone of the coffee table. "okay now leggo." i run out the door and jack follows we get in his car and he drives to chik-fil-a.

"hey ive written alot of music with my friend jack you wanna hear it?"

"oh my gosh yes!"

he puts on one of his songs apparently called how we livin.

"THATS JUST HOW WE LIVIN." he screams halfway through the song.

we pull up to chik-fil-a and go inside to order.

"um a eight piece chicken nugget with waffle fries." jack says looking at me asking what i want. "i'll have the same."

"okay so thats two eight piece chicken nuggets with two waffle fries for this heck of a hot person." the girl behind the counter smirks then winks at him.

"just how much will it be." i ask glaring at her.

she looks over at me with an annoyed face. "sorry i interrupted your flirting." i say straight faced.

"ugh $7.82"

"okay finally." i get the money out of my wallet and right as i get it out jack puts it down and pays for it himself.

"jaaaaack, i had itttt." i say pouting.

"oh well i beat you to it. i cant let you pay on the first date babe." he kisses my cheek and im probably as red as a tomato by now.

a few minutes later a bag came out with our food in it. "thank you." we say before we leave the counter then walk out the door.

skip car ride

we walk inside my house then put our food on the coffee table and begin to eat the food.

"oh shoot. we forgot to get drinks. i'll go get some."

i walk into the kitchen, open up the fridge and pull out a pepsi can.

"JACK COKE OR PEPSI." i yell into the living room.

"COKE."

i pull out a coca cola and walk back to the living room and hand him his coke.

"thank you."

"how bout some video games now." jack says patting his hand next to him for me to come sit.

"sure but no horror yet its only 10:04." i pulled out my phone and looked at the time.

"so what game first?"

"hmm how about some rocket league."

"what the fuc-"

"its car soccer basically." i said while laughing.

"well then you are gonna lose."

i throw jack a controller and since the xbox was already on i just inserted the disk.

"best two out of three." i asked making us a match of one on one.

"you know it."

THREE ROUNDS LATER

"YESSS." i screamed because i just beat jack.

"okay fine you got lucky, i was so close on that last round."

"now should be a good time for some horror games." i smirk.

"okay, sounds good."

"how about some amnesia then outlast."

"i'll take any horror game." he smirks.

30 minutes later.

jack screamed as the monster from amnesia busted through the door.

"OH SHIT. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT."

i sat there laughing my ass off. "THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER."

"DUDE THATS NOT FUNNY. okay im done with these game." jack put the controller down and put his hand through his hair and laid on the couch.

he sat up again and pat next to him to come sit. "jack im going to sleep, im really tired."

"okay i'll sleep here and you can get the bed." jack said grabbing a blanket.

"no thats okay, you can sleep in my bed if you want."

"if in insist." he winks at me and we walk to my bedroom.

he jumps onto the bed and i jump right next to him.

i lay my head on his chest and start to drift to sleep.

"goodnight babygirl."
