"You certainly are a skilled gentleman, Mr. . . Oh, why I never did catch your name." The blonde maiden cooed propping up on her elbow to look at the man beside her. He was sliding his brown vest over his white shirt, his black hair hanging in thick waves along his shoulders and back. His toned arms caught the sun's rays as he stretched. The fair skinned maiden grabbed his waist and sighed, her head resting on his back.
"Why do you always have to rush off?" She pouted.
"It is my way. I'm a very busy man you know." He spoke, as he did he rose, gently moving the petite elven girls hands. The man stood only a little taller than the small elf, her guess was he was only about five foot four. He strode in his usual manner, which to the woman, seemed to be a mix between a rogue and a king. Cocky, cautious and noble all at once. She had never met a man like him before, nor would she again.
"I know but listen, I only know you by your wanted listing. I want your name." She demanded, clutching the man's pouch that held all his life's savings. Not very much but enough.
"Aurelia please, give that back." He reached for it but Aurelia yanked it back, her head hitting the backboard of the bed. She let out a cry and the man dove on the bed and clutched her in his arms. His large hands caressed her face, she had knocked herself out. Poor thing was always so frail. He wished she could know his name, but it was safer if she didn't.
"I love you, my moonlight lotus." He whispered as he kissed her, laying her down carefully and hooking the pouch to his belt. He stole one last glance at her before hurrying on his way. He needed to get far away from here, before Aurelia's fiancee returned.
