One week into the start of senior year and it's already bad. I mean I know im not liked that much but putting a sign to my back that says kick me is really immature. Im not the one to have many friends, and do get picked on a few times so this isn't a suprise, but it's getting old to be honest. Yet, I don't say anything because I don't want things to go even worse. Last time I spoke up I was getting my face shoved inside a toilet. Ya, I know, so classic. I thought that only happened in movies, but Dylan seems to go by those bullying movies when it comes to picking on me.
I crumpled the paper in my hands and tossed it in the nearest trash can. Dylan has been what you could say my bully since a kid. He never really went more far than putting my head inside a toiled. There has never been any real violence like beating the crap out of me, but the things he says hurt more than physical punches. It's not everyday this happens either, just occasionally.
"Hey Ni!" I hear an all to familiar voice yell down the hallway. I turned around to find my best friend Harry, running to me with his soccer bag hanged over his shoulder. He smiled a little breathless as he got over to me. I gave him my own smile back.
"Hey, aren't you suppose to be heading to practice by now?" I arched an eyebrow at him. Harry had tried out for soccer and made it. He was somewhat different from me yet not that different. Different as in he was very popular and I was the nerd. Funny how were both friends with diffrent popularity statuses. Doesn't matter because we both were friends since we were five. He was very stubborn at first but I managed to get him to talk and laugh. One thing that stuck to him was his stubbornness. He sure is hard to break. To make long story short we basically became friends and so here we are.
"Yup, but Holly kept me in class for a few minutes. You know I have a feeling she doesn't like me" he says sarcastically. His hand pulls up the bag so its pressed more firmly around his shoulder.
"No really?" He laughs as we start to walk out of the hallway.
"Is your mom picking you up?" He asked.
"No, going walking. Moms at work still" I open the door and suddenly feel the cold wind hit my skin. I shiver while scolding myself mentally for not bringing a sweater.
"If you want you could wait for me so I can drive you"
I think about it not really sure because I was kind of hungry. Plus, I had a ton of homework I had to do.
"I don't know" he gave me the puppy dog eyes which made me shut my eyes quickly. By now we were already out standing in the parking lot.
"Oh no you don't. That is not gonna work on me anymore Styles" I know his game and every time he did the puppy face I would always agree.
"Pleasseeeee" he pulled on my arm a little. I could already see the smirk on his face.
"Nope" I made a pop at the end with my mouth.
"We can go to Joe's after practice" that got me to open my eyes and smile.
"On second thought" he smiled knowing he had won.
"I knew it! Joe's always work. You can wait by the bleachers until practice is over. Then we'll go to Joe's" I nodded as he made his way over to the back field, next to the parking lots. I walked over to the bleachers and set my backpack down. The team was changing at this time so I decided to do my homework now. Might as well get the weight off my shoulders. I took out my english homework which was an essay. It was quite easy but boy did we have to do lots of it. I was halfway done when the team came out in their usual small groups. Of course I saw Dylan and his group of friends.
Oh ya, did I tell you Dylan plays also? Well not only does he play but hes good friends with Harry. I know what your thinking. Why would Harry be friends with your best friends bully?
