For all those who struggle through writers block - this is a simple exercise that I've recently discovered, which I've found really helps me overcome this. From all the advice about writing I've heard, the most prominent one is to write... every day. But doesn't everybody, who writes that often, sometimes not know what to write about?

And that's the glory of this; it gives you something to write about without writing it for you. You still control the character profiles, plot, scenarios, everything! Just without the initial block.

To carry out the exercise, you need to gather a set of random words (8 is a good number for me). I use an website to do this, however there are other alternatives. Now, you take these words and see who and what you can think of... This will be your character and plot. Finally, with these parts done, you can write - making sure you fit all of your words. To add an extra challenge, you can try and do them in order!

This book is a compilation of my results when using this exercise. I hope they are entertaining, interesting... and maybe even inspiring. I urge everybody to try this for themselves; I've loved it so far!

This will be updated as often as I can, but sometimes other commitments may obstruct me - mainly school. Enjoy! :)
