***Maddie's POV***

"Hey nerd girl!"

"Eww. It's nerd girl."

"You going to book club tonight nerd?"

These are some of the remarks I heard when I walked into the school. I learned to live with and ignore them. I looked down suddenly having an interest with my outfit. I'm wearing a black and white sleeveless striped top with black ripped jeans and red Converse to add color to the outfit. The remarks kept going as I walked to my locker. When I got there, I saw my best friends, Jessica and Emily waiting for me. "Hey chica" Emily said to me smiling. Yeah they know I'm made fun of, but refuse to leave me. "Hey huns" I say back smiling.

They, and our other two BFFs that don't go to our school, Hannah and Leah, are the reason I haven't left this town. I grab my chemistry book and we walk to the classroom together. We get there early so we can sit at the back. The bell rings and everyone files in. Some of the jocks come in and shoot spitballs at me. I hold my textbook infront of me so they can't hit me. They stopped when the teacher came in.

One of the jocks I've had a crush on for a few years. Bradley Thompson. But I know it would never work because.....well...... he's the captain of the basketball team and I'm just 'the nerd'. I mean he rarely talks to me or makes remarks at me, but his friends do and he's popular. That's one reason why it can never work. The other reasons are called Marisa, Ashley, and Racheal. They would torture me. Not like they don't already. While Mr.Jacksons back is to the board, I pull out my phone and send a text to Hannah and Leah.

Sleepover tonite. We goin out 2. Luvv y'all.

The rest of the day drags on with classes, the populars and jocks, and lunch. Bradley made eye contact with me today and my heart beat sped up. Jessica and Emily are spending the night, along with Hannah and Leah. They get to my house at around 5:15. Perfect time. We go into my too and start to get ready. Every few weekends we go out to a club in town. No we don't get in illegally. They have an 16-20's part so underage kids don't get into the real club. They're almost the exact same.......but without alcohol.

I get dressed in a tight, dark, blue strapless dress that goes to mid thigh. I put a black leather jacket on over it. I also put on black pumps. The girls wear something similar, but making it their own. We do our makeup an hair. I curl mine and put a really dark eyeliner on to make it stand out. The girls do the same and by 7, were ready. We walk there every time since its about 5 minutes away. I grab my clutch where I put my cellphone and money and we leave.

***Bradley's POV***

Darn it. It's already 7 and I was suppose to meet the guys at Austin's house. My car broke down on 4th street and I had no other way to get there. So I called Austin and he told me that there's an alley that will take me to his street. I trust him and I find the alley. I start to walk down it when a group of 5 girls are walking from the other way. They look like they're going to a party in their short dresses.

I get closer and get a better image of them. Their arms are linked and they look around my age. There's one girl in the middle who looks really familiar. Her crystal-blue eyes stand out from all the other girls. They are smiling and look exicted. I get close and can see them perfectly. I deffinitely know that blue-eyed girl from somewhere. But where? We pass by each other and they look at me. After we pass, they start talking. I turn around and look at the girl in the middle some more. I deffinitely know her. But from where though? I have to know. She is the most beautiful girl ever.

"What took you so long bro? We thought you got mugged or something"Austin said to me when I got there. Nick, Tyler, and Jordan were also there. "I was walking down the alley you told me when this group of 5, really pretty girls, were walking the opposite way and one of them had blue eyes that I SWEAR I've seen before" I tell them. "Nice one bro! Get their numbers or a pic?" Tyler asks. "Dammit" I curse under my breath. "Idiot" Jordan says jokingly.

At around 11, Austin eyes go wide like he has to say something. "Nerd girl lives 2 houses down. Wanna go teepee it?" I really don't want to but I don't have time to answer because the other guys agree. He takes out 12 rolls of toilet paper. "Leggo" Nick says. And we leave.

***Maddie's POV***

At around 11, we began walking back to my house. On our way back, we were laughing about how a guy, about 19, was acting drunk and tried to dance on Hannah. "Did he realize that there was no alcohol allowed?" I say. "Mmh.... Probably not. Now HE'S an idiot" Leah replies."I'm scarred I think" she tells us. We're still laughing by the time we got to my house.

When we got to my house, we had to be quiet because my mom is asleep. We go into my room , which is on the second floor, and put the music on softly. We listen to Selena Gomez's song 'Come & Get It'. We take showers and decide to give each other makeovers.

While painting our nails, I her something hitting the house. We turn down the music down and listen. We open the curtains and open the window. On the ground, we see 5 guys, teepeeing the house. "Hey!" I scream down there and they just laugh except one. "Screw off ya mofos!!" Hanna shouts down there.

Jessica runs to the closet and grabs packs of plastic forks and spoons. Emily ripped them open and we started hurling them at the people. "What the hell?!" One shouts. The voice is familiar, but I can't identify it. Finally, they run away. "Yeah you better run!" Emily shouts. We start launching like crazy. "Mads, what's your mom gonna say when she see's all those forks and spoons?" Leah asks and I shrug.

We turn the music back on and finish painting each others nails. After we're done, we fall asleep on the floor with the music left on.
