Chapter 1

"I swear to god Calum was still there when we left I mean I saw him but ..."

Michael wasn't really paying attention to his friend who was still bitching about the party on Friday. He just nodded from time to time rolling his eyes showing Luke that he totally agreed with him even if he had no clue what the taller boy was talking about. He still wasn't better from being sick at all but his mum said he had to go back to school or else his grades would drop even lower. His head was still a bit clouded from the medicine he took the whole weekend but no matter what he said to his mum she practically shoved him out of the house where Luke was already waiting for him.

"And Ash didn't even bothered to tell me that he left and I was there like ... Mikey are you even listening to me ?"

"What? Yeah sure I do why ?"

"Okay what was I talking about?"

He was biting his lip by now looking at the blond boy next to him who raised an eyebrow at him. How hard could it be to guess what Luke was talking about ? Its usually the same every time they attend a party like that. Calum was all flirty with everyone, not giving a shit about what others where thinking. Ash would just have some fun with his friends talking about music or his work while Luke was sitting on the couch or the floor sipping his beer as he tried to avoid every conversation. It's not that he hated talking or anything it's just Luke isn't really comfortable with talking to people he barely knew. It took him almost a year to have a normal conversation with Mikey.

"That they left you alone like they usually do."

Luke rolled his eyes, he knew that Mikey had a good guess at it but he wasn't going to tell Mikey off for that instead he just continued to bitch about the whole party. For once Mikey even tried to listen to him. He liked Luke's voice even if it was exhausting from time to time to listen to everything he said. Even though Luke could barely speak to strangers, he had no trouble being chatty with Mikey.

"Lucifer. Mikey."

The both of them stopped walking just to turn around to look in the face of the smiling girl who was running towards them, almost tripping over her own feet. Her red Hair was tied up in a messy bun and she kinda looked tired even if she was smiling from ear to ear. The band shirt she was wearing was way to big for her and her ripped tights were the only thing that covered her legs. It was clear to see that this shirt wasn't hers and that maybe she hadn't had the time to change her clothes.

Zoe was a wild child some would say. Luke and Mikey would just say she lives her life but still knows the important parts like going to school and have a good job.

"Let me guess little one ... wild weekend?"

Mikey smirked at her before taking her bag like he always did when they walked to school together. A few years ago everyone was thinking that he and Zoe would make a great couple but for them it was always just friendship, a love that you can't describe with words. She was like a little sister like the one he never had.

"Pretty wild yes but not that bad. I'm still tired but that's okay, I know Luke will buy me a coffee if I ask him very nice."

"Would I?"

" You would , don't deny it Hemmings."

They laughed walking down the street in comfortable silence just making a stop so Luke could buy Zoe a coffee. She doesn't even have to ask him, normally he would do it every morning because he knows that Zoe wasn't a morning person too and most of the times she just woke up 10 minutes before she had to leave. Mikey still asks himself how she managed to look fresh every morning even if she doesn't have the time to go through a big beauty routine every morning. Luke once said that she had natural beauty and Zoe just giggled looking at him with a blush. Yes Zoe was a good looking girl, but not for everyone because clearly not everyone has the same taste. In Mikeys eyes she was stunning in every way even if she wasn't the tallest or skinniest girl ever.
