This quote speaks the truth and relates to all of us.
Last year was my 8th grade year. Last year of middle school. And it was a blast. It was the best year for all I know. My friends and I made a ton of great memories, and funny moments. I remember our soccer team, our DC trip and our graduation dance and many, many more. Then it was the time to graduation, and I literally felt like crying. When the graduation ended we had a dance. Our last dance in middle school and we Danced our butts out. After the dance I watched all of my friends go home and start at new directions. It was my turn to start as well.
I sometimes dwell on those memories and it makes me cry and I get sad. But I also felt a surge of warmth because I loved all my friends dearly and the moments we shared with each other.
I'm happy that it happened :D.
Now starting at a new school and with new people. It may sound scary, but I know I'll be alright and that goes the same for you too.
