Dead Centre

Dark turned to light. The whole family was awake for another day of trouble.

"Hun, i'm going to check out who was making that noise yesterday," said Daniel as he kissed Jess goodbye and shut the door behind him.

Daniel walked to the farmhouse, it seemed really quiet he knocked on the door numerous times, until the door opened itself. Daniel walked inside.

"Hello, is anyone here," said Daniel loudly assuming someone will hear.

Daniel looked around in the old farmhouse, he saw a lot of knives and axes he assumed they were used for cutting animal meat. He saw another door way and went through.

"Oh, oh my god," Daniel said looking like he was going to be sick.

The room was full of skeletons, he thought they were animal skeletons but no they were human skeletons. There were skulls, feet bones, jaws, rib cages and blood all over the place, but whats worse is there was a fresh human body on the table in the middle of the room tied with rope. Daniel was feeling really sick after all who wouldn't after seeing this horrific sight. He opened a barrel in the corner of the room, but that was a big mistake. Inside the barrel was another skeleton scrunched up tight to fit in. Looking at it Daniel puked all over the floor, but then her heard footsteps behind him. At this point Daniel was shivering he didn't know if he should turn around, in fact he didn't know what to do.

The big cold hands grabbed him from behind, Daniel tried to escape but it was no use this strange masked figure was too big for him. The strange man pushed Daniel onto a chair and tired rope around his mouth, arms and legs. Daniel couldn't get out and he couldn't ask for help. The man left Daniel on the chair and walked up to the body on his table. He picked up an axe and with a loud bang chopped the head off the body. Daniel was shrieking but no one could hear him as he had rope tied around his mouth. Then there was another bang and the leg of the body flew off, followed by another bang and another bang until all the limbs were removed. Then he removed what was left of the body to clear the table. He then walked over to Daniel, and pulled the rope off his mouth.

"No, no no," Daniel cried as the man ripped the rope off his legs and his hands. He then carried him to the table. Daniel was screaming and crying he knew what was going to happen next, but he was helpless. He tried to get up and run but as he tried the man turned around and hit him on the head with a sledge hammer now he was unconscious. The man got the axe out and BANG the head went off followed by blood squirting everywhere.

"Where's dad it's been three hours since he went to the farm house? I wanted him to take me to see the farm." Said Brandon to his mother.

"i'm sure he'll be back soon, he's probably having tea with the farmer," answered Jess as she poured herself a glass of white wine. 

"Maybe the farmer is a women, face it mum you don't know what he's doing or if he's even at the farm house, he could be cheating on you like last time to be honest i don't know why you even took him back." Said Roxy angrily.

"You take that back young lady, you don't speak to your mother like that GO TO YOUR ROOM! And you Bradley."Shouted Jess in anger.

Bradley and Roxy went up to their rooms whilst Jess downstairs was waiting for her husbands return soon enough she got annoyed and started doubting her self. Jess started drinking a bottle of bourbon whiskey and soon she got drunk and collapsed on the living room sofa. After about an hour she got up again  and expected Daniel to be back.

"Daniel, are you back!?" She shouted loudly as she put what was left of the whisky back in the fridge.

"Is dad here yet?" Asked Bradley as he came down the stairs.

"Get back in your room Brad,"said Jess.

Jess was really angry now, and also worried. Where the hell has he gone? I swear i'm gonna kill that man! This was what she was thinking to herself. Soon she decided to get out and see what he's doing at the farm house, if he's even at the farm house.

She knocked on the farm house door, nobody was answering so she pushed it open, after all it was a rusty old door. 

"Oh my god. No no Daniel." she cried when the cut off head of her husband came rolling at her. The head had no eyes just dark holes it looked like the eyes were ripped out of their sockets.

If she was clever she would have just turned back and went home, but instead she went inside...
