"Get behind me" I demanded the Felsalphs. My eyes widen as a man stepped out. His messy, brown hair and brown eyes catching my attention immediately. I stood still as he stepped out of the police box. He was wearing a brown trenchcoat with a dark blue suit, patterned with thin, vertical, light blue stripes. Underneath was a white, collared shirt with a red tie. He lifted his gaze to line up with my own.
"Ello, miss." He greeted. I just stood there for a moment, observing him. Then, I decided to act casual, as if I was human. "Ello, sir." I responded. He rolled his eyes and slightly grunted. "Oh, don't call me sir. My name is the Doctor. What is yours?" He asked as he reached his hand out for me to shake. I hesitated a bit, then grasped my hand with his. "Leah Jackson." I lied. He smiled. "Well ello there, Leah. What are you doing out here alone? And what are you hiding?" He smirked as he looked around me.
He seemed interested in the Felsalphs. He walked around me and kneeled down. He observed the small, starfish-like creatures. Their adorable, big, green eyes and small mouths distracting me for a moment. "I am investigating..." I replied as I kinda glared down at him. "What is your business here?" I asked curiously. He held up a white paper. "John Smith, Investigator of the British Ossociation." He explained. I frowned as I realized it was psychic paper. Then, I smirked and pulled out my own, holding it down to his vision. "Leah Jackson, Investigator of the British Ossociation." He lifted his head to it, then stood up to look at me with a surprised expression.
"What? How did you get that?" He asked, still with a puzzled expression. I shugged and lied, "Found it." He looked at me suspiciously. I just smirked as I we stared at each other. "How did you get yours, Doctor?" I asked. He just stared at me suspiciously as I just stared back with a smirk. He turned back to the Felsalphs, disconnecting our gaze. I leaned against the wall and looked down at them. "They were abando-" he put up his hand and shushed me. I looked at him as if he was crazy. I rolled my eyes and grunted as I crossed my arms.
I heard a noise and turned to the Police box. A dark-skinned woman stepped out. She was wearing a crimson leather jacket and black pants. I looked at her puzzled as she smiled. "Hey. I'm Martha Jones." She greeted kindly. I nodded and said "Leah Jackson. Anymore people coming out that box?" She shook her head and chuckled a bit as she crouched down by the Doctor. I just watched with no expression. They spoke lightly as they investigated. I didn't bother trying to ease drop.
After a half hour, they stood up and looked at me. "Well we best be going now, Leah. We need to bring these guys to their nest. It was nice meeting you." She said shaking my hand. I looked at the Doctor as he approached me. He looked down at me, since I had a shorter stature. We both looked seriously at each other as we locked our gaze. Martha found it queer, our stare-down of suspicion. She just waited as I finally spoke, "You'll be back...eventually...you'll be back." He just looked at me. That moment, we knew what we were. He just turned and walked to the blue box. Martha followed with a puzzled expression.
I smiled a bit and said my last words, "Goodbye...Doctor"
