"Nyx, what are you doing?" Erebus asked his wife as she stared down at the earth. "Watching." She replied distractedly, heartbroken. "I would have thought that my children would know better. "
Erebus rolled his black eyes, "don't you worry about them, if the whole world goes up in flames, it is no skin off of our backs."
Nyx shot her husband a hard glare, "why is that?" She asked, turning away from the blue planet and walking upon a ribbon of stars for a while. "We can always make another one."
"But you cannot replace children." Nyx argued, crouching down and breathing onto a small planet, sending night crashing upon it.

Erebus kicked a massive star and it promptly exploded,  "Just because Kronus didn't-"
"Don't you dare bring up Kronus."

Erebus sighed, "why must you be so hell-bent on protecting everything?"

Titania carefully set the letter down, groaning. She was bored, all of the states of affairs, trading contracts and  complaints of her subjects.
"Since there is nobody to talk to, I guess I can talk to myself. The idiot, Dequik has waged war on the Wood elves, and the elves are asking for military reinforcements... On the one hand, I will have their allegiance. On the other, if I get involved I could make an enemy out of the Centaurs."

Silent minutes ticked by as she thought to herself, minutes, hours in the quiet of her empty palace.

Titania stood up, climbing onto her desk, and gleefully kicked everything off. Papers flying everywhere and books falling to the floor to the beat of her imaginary music. "Who gives a care? I will help the elves secretly! " with an excited squeal she leaped off, as her bare feet slapped onto the ground she snapped her fingers "That's it! I will prepare immediately!"

Mab slouched in the darkest corner of a tavern, brooding as she stared into her cup of black fluid.  She looked up as a dashing young man with bright red hair approached her, grinning like a dog. "Hello there baby." He said in a slick tone, setting another cup down beside her old one.  "how's about we chat in the alley?"

Mab smiled as sweetly as she could manage, making split second eye contact. "Why don't we just talk here, smooth talker?" She replied in an equally saucy tone.

The man sat down across from her, placing his hands on the table, smiling softly.

Mab continued smiling as she traced along his fingers with her index, "I have always had a thing for red-heads, I never thought one would talk to little old me." She cooed, her smile twisting into a smirk.
The stranger laughed, and the rotten smell of whiskey hit Mab, this man was higher than a kite. He reached for her hands, mumbling something illegible.

Like a crocodile snapping it's jaws on a poor unsuspecting gazelle she yanked his fingers towards his body, breaking them with a sick pop. He screamed and threw himself to the floor, rolling around. "Stay away from me, you son of a goat." She hissed, stomping out of the tavern.
Mab was not interested in men, or any romance. They were not worth the time that she had wasted, I can't carry on like this, I need to find people like me. People who know the greater power, and will respect me.

Mab closed her eyes, surprised she hadn't thought of this before. With a twitch of her finger, she pulled her soul from her body. It felt like ripping tape off of your arm, but in this way she would find people easily.
Her body crumpled to the street, attracting attention of many. "miss, are you alright?!" People were asking, shaking her body while her soul watched from a distance, reading into the magical energy of the bystanders.  As she stared at the crowd she noticed one person looking directly at her, not her body, his eyes tracing her every move.
She squinted and crept closer to him, looking him up and down. Could he see her soul?
