I got up and drove to the adoption center
"Hello sir, are you looking to adopt?" A nice lady asked me
"Yes. Does my spouse have to be here?" I asked her
"Do they want to adopt a child too?" She asked
"Yes. I would like to adopt 2 babies, a boy and a girl" I said proudly
"Ok come with me" she said standing up
I followed her into a room with a bunch of babies
I looked at all of them their all so damn cute
I picked up a beautiful baby girl, she had Down syndrome, but she was beautiful
"Are you sure you want her you are aware she had downs right?" She asked me
"Yes. She is the most beautiful little girl I've ever seen" I said hugging the little girl
"She is only about 1 week old, her mother didn't want a baby with Down syndrome"
"Wow she sounds like an a-hole" I said to the lady
"She was" she said back to me
"are you sure you want two babies" she asked me
"I think this beautiful girl should do it" I said to her
"Ok we just need to fill our some papers and she's all yours

Type of home: apartment, but we are planning on moving into a house

"This is Rachel" the lady said handing Mitch Rachel
"She's beautiful" he said holding her as he teared up
"I know, what do you say, wanna go home" I said to him
"Yes" he signed the papers and we went next door to get a car seat for Rachel
We drove to the baby store and got (mostly) all gender neutral stuff for her
We got a white crib, we put her in there and she fell asleep right away
We had the crib in the living room so we just sat on the couch whispering and snuggling
