How did he convince you to do this? Just how? You hated Lazer tag, you've weren't even good at it, in fact you sucked at it...but it was for Meto and you already knew you would do anything for him...you didn't like him though. He was just a good buddy. A really good buddy.
As you and the members of Mejibray walked into Lazor City you were greated by a cheery girl with dark hair pulled back into a tight pony tail. She looked nice enough as she handed each of you a paper ticket with your names printed on them in a spindley font.
"Hello, my name is Yumi and I will be assisting you today. Go straight and to the right and you will find the room where all of the vests are located." She pointed toward a closed room further into the building. There was a sign hanging on the door labeled Lazer vest room. "You may all get started as soon as you like as long as all of you know the rules of the game." You all nodded and Yumi lead you toward the Lazer vest room.
"Hey (y/n) are you ready to lose at lazer tag?" Tsuzuku asked with a big smile on his face. You rolled your eyes.
"You guys know I hate lazer tag, why did you guys make me come here?" You asked. Koichi smiled, looked over at Meto and winked. Of course you didn't know what it meant so you ignored it.
You slipped the vest over your head and pulled your hair out from under it. Suddenly you felt two hands replace your own and glanced back to see Meto behind you. He quickly and silently pulled your hair into a pony tail. His left hand grazed the bare skin on the back of your neck and you felt a shiver run up your spine. Ignoring it you turned around and smiled at Meto before Mia takes your hand and pulls you into the oversized room where the game would take place.
"Aim like this," Mia took your hands and showed you how to aim the gun. "A red dot will appear on your target and then you shoot. Okay?" You nodded and suddenly there was a count down in the room until the game was to start.
"Good luck." Koichi said as he ran off to some part of the room.
"Three...two...one...start." The light went out and the lights on the vest lit up to show the colored team everyone was assigned to. You were blue, Tsuzuku was red, Koichi was pink and Mia was yellow. You looked around to look for Meto to see he was also blue. You were releaved to have him on your team. He looked up from his gun to see you. Smiling he waved you toward him.
"How convinient we're on the same team." Meto said with a smile. You smiled back and for some reason your heart started to beat faster when he spoke to you. What was wrong with you, it's not like you had never heard Meto speak before, he was actually quite talkative with you. You'd known him for two years, since you were eighteen. Sure you liked him, but as a friend and just a friend...right? As you were deep in thought you hadn't noticed one of the other members were about to come around the corner and find you. Before you could register what was happening Meto had pushed you against the wall, pinning you between it and him. You could breathe in his scent, cigarettes and his cologne. Why was your heart beating so fast? It wasn't like you were afraid of him or anything, seriously he was probably about as threatening as a goldfish.
Meto stayed where he was for a few more moments before pulling back. "Gotta focus if you want to win." Meto said smiling at you. You nodded silently, but in your head you thought 'that wouldn't be so hard if you weren't so DAMN distracting!'

What was probably a good two hours of game play felt like two minutes. You unsurprisingly got shot alot, though you did notice something. Every time a new game would start you and Meto were always on the same team. Not that you minded thought. However, on the last game you were on different teams. You were blue again, but Meto was red. When you looked around you didn't see any of the other Mejibray members.
"Hey where's everyone else?" You asked as the countdown started.
"Not important." Was all Meto said before going silent. You looked at him confused, but the countdown ended and the lights went out. As soon as it was dark Meto disappeared, you looked around but saw no sign of red.
"Meto?" You asked, though you knew you wouldn't get an answer. You began to walk around, hoping you'd spot him somewhere, but he was no where to be seen. You started to feel fear, well not really fear as much as anxiety at the thought of being alone. However the feeling didn't last long.
You felt an arm wrap around your waist and pull you back. You fell back agaisnt something hard before you were quickly spun around to face the familiar sillouette of Meto. The lights on his vest were turned off, making him nearly impossible to see.
"You're cheating." You said quiety, surprised when you realized just how close you were to eachother.
"This plan wouldn't have worked if I'd kept the lights on." Meto said. You were going to ask what he meant but didn't get the chance to. Instantly you felt his lips crash agaisnt yours, his piercings pressing against your skin. Your heart felt as if it was going to beat out of your chest. Slowly you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him closer.
"Um, yes I believe one of the rules was no sex in the game room, so if you two could cease from taking your current activities any further in there that would be greatly appreciated." You felt Meto smile agaisnt your lips when Mia's voice came over the intercome. You two pulled apart and you could feel the heat burning on your cheeks. The lights turned back on and you could finally see Meto clearly in front of you. You both burst into laughter as the other members walked into the room.

You don't hate Lazor tag anymore.
