Chapter 5

Dipper's P.O.V.

It was dark, I couldn't move but I could feel everything, The pain was so excruciating it made me want to scream if only I could. What was happening? I don't remember anything after (Y/N) asked me about the river. The river! This must be the curse it was talking about, there was no actual description on what the curse was, but this must be it. 'Oh no' I thought, mentally face palming myself, what about (Y/N)? I should have heeded the the books advice and been more cautious about the river, now I could have gotten a curse placed on (Y/N)! I needed to wake up now! I tried moving, only making the pain in the lower half of my body flare up.

I gasped, opening my eyes, I was laying forward, but I could tell the sun had already set, I groaned, trying to lift myself up, but I couldn't feel my legs, I looked down. I felt like I was going to throw up but when I opened my mouth the only thing to come out was a small scream. Where the lower half of my body should have been, was replaced with the body of a deer, it's fur, rather my fur was about the same color as my hair, it was brown with spots everywhere, next to me was my pine tree hat, I picked it up and tried to place it on my head, but it wouldn't go on, I reached up and felt my ears, they were huge and fuzzy, I ignored the screaming sensation inside and kept moving my hand up, on either side atop my head were two small bumps, 'antlers' I thought, 'I have freaking antlers'. I remembered about (Y/N) I looked around, she was a few feet away from me, she too was like me, her fur was a little bit lighter than mine, despite what was happening I couldn't help but think about how pretty she looked, I snapped back to reality when she started to move, I pushed off the ground with my hands, ordering the rest of my body to get up, I somehow was able to make my way over to her without falling. I folded my legs and got back down on the ground.

"Hey (Y/N), c'mon wake up" I shook her shoulder gently.

"Mmm just five more minutes mom..." She murmured, I couldn't help but smile. I leaned down closer to her.

"(Y/N), it's Dipper." I whispered, her eyes shot open and she sat up so quickly that she head butted my chin.

"Ow!" We yelled in unison. (Y/N) looked up at me and let out a muffled scream, she slowly looked down at herself. She didn't say anything, but I could see her eyes slowly watering up as she tried to comprehend was happened. With tears in her eyes, they looked more beautiful than glass or porcelain. I pulled her chest into mine to calm her down.

"Dipper, what happened?" She asked, I pulled her back, but not letting go of her shoulders, I looked at her straight in her (E/C) eyes.

"The river was really cursed, I'm so sorry (Y/N) I never should have taken you there, this is all my fault." I looked down ashamed to have ever put (Y/N) in harms way like that.

"No." She said, "this isn't your fault, it's whoever cursed this dang river, but don't worry, I know we will find a way to fix this." I looked up, I could still see fear in her eyes but her smile, sent warm waves throughout my body, I was glad that she was here with me, I began blushing furiously. Despite what was going on, there we both sat, smiling at each other and blushing like fools. I reluctantly came back to reality.

"What are going to tell Mabel?" I asked. 

"Oh my gosh she's probably worried about us! We should head back to the Shack and let her know we aren't dead." She said. I began standing up, I held my hand out to her.

"We'll figure out something." I said. She smiled at me, grabbing my hand.

"We always do." She replied. I smiled back at her. I slowly helped her up. We began walking home, holding each other's hand, not only because we wanted to, but to help ourselves not fall over. (Y/N) looked up at the stars, pointing with her free hand she pointed to one of the constellations. I looked up and we both smiled.

"It's the Big Dipper."

AND SCENE!! Wasn't that bad this time was it? I was really in the mood to get some more from Dippers perspective , hope y'all liked it, I hope I can get another chapter done by tomorrow!!
