Chapter 7 Tasuku's past

OKA'S POV:
I was at the buddy police to tell Commander I about the criminal I caught. I was walking there when I saw Noboru 'I wonder what he's doing here?' "Hey Noboru what are you doing here?" I asked he was about to answer me when Tasuku cut in. "Hey your Gao's friend right lets see um Kitten Shirt right." he said I giggled at Tasuku's sense of humor but Noboru didn't. "It's not a kitten, it's a tiger." he said he then sighed "I came to dissolve my buddy contract." he said "But why?" I asked "I don't need to keep buddyfighting it's for kids and besides I'm getting older." he said "Well I don't think you should stop buddyfighting don't stop something you have fun doing. I have to get going bye." Tasuku said he then left "I agree with Tasuku on that Noboru you should keep buddyfighting if you have fun with it." I said Takihara then told us that Commander I wanted to talk to us.

•Continuing OKA'S POV:•
Commander I introduced Noboru to the Buddy Police HQ. "Hey. And isn't this place top secret why'd you ask a kid like me here?" Noboru asked we were currently watching Tasuku catch a criminal the criminal luminized his core deck it was... underwear?!! after that hilarious moment I asked Commander I a question. "Hey Commander I do you know anything about Tasuku?" I asked "Actually I do know about him." he said Commander I then told me and Noboru that Tasuku had lost his parents in a Disaster 4 years ago he said he pretty much was stranded and wandered the for 3 days mountains most of his life it was then he realized that adults have been protecting him and sheltering him and that's when he met his buddy Jackknife Dragon he wanted to be someone who goes from being protected to protecting others. I couldn't believe it now I understand why he left after I asked him about his parents. I felt bad for him I had to make it up to him.
*Time Skip*
Tasuku came back from catching the criminal. "Commander I the criminal buddy fighter is behind bars." he said
Commander I then nodded "Well done Tasuku." Commander I said
Anyway I walked passed Tasuku and went outside I wanted to give him the present but not in front of everyone I then felt a tap on my shoulder I jumped at the touch I turned around to see Tasuku "Hey are you okay?" he asked "Y-yeah I-I'm f-fine." I said not making eye contact "H-hey can you close your eyes and hold out your hands." I said "Uh sure." he said he had his eyes closed and held out his hands and then placed the pendant in his hands. "Okay you can open your eyes." I said he opened his eyes seeing the pendant in his hands he looked at it "What's this?" he asked "It's a gift. Look I'm sorry about what I asked yesterday but then Commander I told me about you not having parents so I felt bad and got you the pendant to make up for it." I said "Oh well thank you but you didn't need to get me anything." he said "No I'm fine I felt bad so deserve it as an apology gift." I said he nodded and smiled "Hey what does the star symbolize?" he asked "Well it symbolizes when you brought me to watch the stars to make me feel better." I said smiling 'And cause you my star.'
"Well I have to get going. Bye" Tasuku said taking off "Bye." I said but after he left something didn't feel right my heart it felt sad that wasn't right because the whole time I was giving him his present my heart was racing yet I didn't know why but that's when I started thinking about what Kaiser said a couple of days ago. 'Do you like Tasuku?' I never thought about it till now well maybe a couple of times before but not as much as now 'Do I Tasuku.' 'No way I can't! He's just a friend! Even though he saved from Wolf and brought me to star gaze just to make me happy doesn't mean I like him! Does it! I don't know! This is really freaking me out!' 'Maybe I'll ask Stella what she thinks when I get the chance.'

TASUKU'S POV:
I couldn't stop thinking about Oka she was just so pretty and she even went to the length to just getting me the pendant just to say I'm sorry. I have to admit I feel bad she had to do that just for me but the pendant was nice I loved it 'I'll never take it off' this pendant wasn't just some present from Oka it meant something to me and I'll keep it close to my heart it was special.
Just like Oka was she was special just like this pendant I'll always think of her. 'I'll never forget and I won't let anything hurt her I'll live to protect her. That's a promise.'
