Chapter 9

I went to pick up the pizza with Michael. walking into the pizza shop I took notice to the sign that said "help wanted". I really do need a job and I need something to keep me busy while the guys are gone, plus I feel the need to pay back she's parents for paying for everything for me. Yea I'm 18, but I have no idea what I want to do with my life, I've been kinda interested in photography and I've been thinking about taking classes for that. But I don't want Shea's parents to pay for that. 

"Hey should I apply?" I said pointing at the sign while walking in

"If you want" Michael said not paying attention and just looking at his phone

"Ya know you're gonna walk into a wall if you keep starring at your phone" I said 

"Fine i'll put it away, lets get disconnected" he said smiling at me

"Oh my gosh shut up" I said laughing

we got into the shop and there were a few people in there, not many. four girls noticed Michael and walked up to him.

"Hey Michael, we're huge fans can we get a picture?" one girl asked looking like she was gonna cry

"Yea of course, y/n wanna go grab the pizzas" 

I walked over to the front counter. A boy came out with the pizzas.

"Hi um I was wondering if you guys had applications?"

"Yea of course hold on one sec let me go grab it. I'll be right back, Oh I'm Austin" He said putting his hand out

"Hi Im y/n" I said shaking his hand.

He seemed really nice he was pretty attractive too, he had to be my age. He was tall and broad. He had an amazing jaw line, brown eyes brown hair that swayed across his face, he also had his ears pierced. He came out with the application.

"Here ya go"

"Thanks" I said with a smile

I grabbed the pizzas and walked over to Michael. He was still talking to the girls. He grabbed the pizzas out of my hand.

"Uh hi y/n I'm anna"

"Hi anna how ya doin" I asked, she seemed really nice

"Well pretty good since I just met my idol" 

"Haha, believe me if anything you're probably more mature than him."

"Oh I believe it" she said laughing

"Hey watch yourselves" Michael said

"So are you and Michael friends orrrrrr"

"Yea we are" I said

"Can I get a picture with you also?" she asked

"Uhh we are kinda in a rush, sorry guys, c'mon y/n lets go" Michael said practically dragging me out of the shop.

"Michael what the fuck was that she just wanted a picture?" 

"I don't want people knowing who you are, not yet" he said back

"Fine jeez"

The rest of the car ride was silent, it wasn't awkward we just played some music and made it back to the house. 

"Ooooh pizza's" calum said

we sat down and ate, I sat at the counter while everyone else sat at the couch and watched tv. I started filling out the application for the pizza shop. 

"So you guys are sleeping over tonight right?" ashton asked while keeping his eyes focused on the TV

"Yea Im oaky with it, you wanna sleep over y/n?" Layla asked also starring at the TV

"Yea I don't care" I said

Luke walked over to me, he was standing behind me and was hovering over me. he put his hands on the counter on both sides of me, I was completely under him.

"Hey what are you doin?" he asked

"Fillin out this application"

"For where?" he asked

"The pizza shop"

"Oh nice" he said walking back over to the couch.

I've been thinking about Luke a lot, they boys. They are leaving in like 3 weeks. I don't want them to but they need to, Its what they're good at... being musicians, damn they are talented too, they deserve it. I finished the application and put it in an envelope to be mailed tomorrow. I got off the stool by the counter and walked over to the couch. I sat down between Calum and Michael.

"So do I get any tickets for your show?" 

"Well We aren't gonna be back in San diego for another couple months." Luke said looking over at me

"Oh well From July till the end of august Im gonna be In Massachusetts"

"Mass? I love it there, one of the best crowds ever, why are you gonna be there though?" Calum said

"My moms friend lives there and we used to visit them every year during the summer. I am still really close with them. They have a daughter who is 2 years younger than me." 

"Oh well we are having a show there at like the end of august and you can go if you want, and you can bring that girl. We'll get you good seats and VIP."

"Yea that would be awesome, I'll have to see if she is even into you guys though"

"Everyone is into us, we're punk rock" Michael said

"Michael ya not punk rock lad, let it go" Calum said laughing

After everyone ate we put a movie in and all of us squeezed in on the couch. luke was on the end,I was next to him then it was Michael, calum, ashton, and then Layla. During the middle of the movie Luke grabbed my hand and started to hold it, no one else noticed. I didn't hesitate and held his too. It was like 3am by now. Once the movie ended I got up and turned the movie off.

"Okay Layla and I are gonna sleep in the guest room" I said

"Alright I'm gonna brush my teeth down here int the bathroom you can use the one upstairs if you want" Layla said

"Okay" and with that I started walking upstairs

I heard someone walking behind me. When I got to the top of the stairs I turned around to see it was Luke.

"Goodnight y/n" Luke said pulling me into a hug

I could feel the little stubbles on his face rub against my cheek

"Goodnight Luke" I said with a sigh

he released me from the hug and gave me a kiss on the head. God this kid drives me crazy. 

Lukes P.O.V

Fuck I hope she won't get mad at me for that, it was just a kiss on the head. Nothing bad. She's something else, she's different than most girls I've even laid eyes on. She's got this look to her, like she has soon many secrets that you just wanna know about, she's got this mysterious look that drags me in. I want her, badly but she's scared. I don't want to be with anyone else to be honest. She's all I think about.... all the time.
