Chapter 7: A Day with Louis

Maddie's POV

     My phone buzzed in my pocket, I took it out and answered it.

     "Hello?" I asked. "Hey Maddie!" Said Louis. "Hi." I said. "Wanna hang out today?" He asked. I licked my lip questioning whether or not I wanted to hang out with Louis. "Um, sure! When should I come over?" I asked. "Maybe come around 11?" He asked. "Sure! See you soon." I smiled. "See you soon, bye!" He said. "Bye." I said before hanging up.

     I remembered the events of yesterday. 'Louis kissed me.' I looked at the time and it was 8:17AM so I ran upstairs took a quick shower and put on some undergarments a black t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I blow dried my hair then brushed it. I put a beanie over my head since it was the dead of winter. I also put on an infinity scarf and my boots. I opened my old jewelry box and saw the paper airplane necklace Harry had gotten me for your two month anniversary. I closed the box quickly and put on a little bit of makeup.

     I looked at the time on my phone again. It was 9:28AM so I had a little bit more time to play with my hair and make it look less frizzy. I just ended up curling it putting on Pandora the first song that came on was 'Heart Attack' by Demi Lovato. I sang along to the song as I curled my hair. After I finished the time was 9:49 so I decided to head out.

     After unplugging my hair curler and turning off Pandora knowing Louis lived about 30 minutes away I had to leave early. I walked out of my house and the cold air hit my face. I exhaled and saw my breath. That always fascinated me the way I could see my breath. I locked my front door and trudged through the snow to my car. Having to clean off all of the snow first.

     I got into my car after cleaning off all of the snow and started to drive towards Louis' house playing music on my phone the first song that came on was 'Last First Kiss' by One Direction of course. I sang along as I drove along the streets.

**At Louis' house**

     I turned off my car and hopped out of it closing the door behind me. It was 10:56 so I was right on time. I locked my car and walked towards Louis' front door. I knocked on the door and Louis opened it, he was wearing a grey sweater and black sweatpants. His hair was combed but still looks like he just got out of bed.

     "Hey." He smiled. "Hi." I said rubbing my hands together breathing into them, because they were cold. "Come on in." He said moving out of the way gesturing for me to come in. I nodded and walked inside. The warmth hit my face and I sighed. It felt nice. Louis shut the door and walked me into his living room. The fireplace was on and the TV was on. I sat on next to Louis on the couch and he played the movie on the TV which just so happened to be Jaws my favorite movie. I layed on my head on Louis' chest listening to his heartbeat and feeling his chest rising and falling. I looked at him and smiled. I know I was dating Niall but this felt nice.

     Louis looked at me and smiled. I blushed and went back to watching the movie. He started to play with my hair wrapping his finger around my ringlets. I felt his fingers on the back of my neck. "Louis get your hands off my neck." I giggled playfully swatting his hand away. "Why?" He pouted. I sat up and turned to look at him. "Because I said so." I smiled. I layed my head back down on his chest and he started singing a song that I didn't recognize at first.

Am I asleep
Am I awake
Or somewhere in between
