Okay, hey guys. I'm Lena just to let you know. I'm just a normal, boring, stereotypical 17 year old girl that hates going to school and has the same problems as any teenager whether that be that there's to many bitchy people around me or my skin isn't the clearest.. Cliché? I know.
My family was dysfunctional but everyone would say that about there family. I live with my mother Kirstin, my little brother Kyle and the most annoying person on this universe, my twin sister Lauren. Lauren and I aren't identical twins but other people would think differently, we spend our whole life's having to hear people almost try to convince us that we must be identical because we look like identical twins but trust me.. I think I would know. We do have some similarities, we both have long blonde hair but mine being a little longer than Lauren's, we both have bright blue eyes, the palest skin you will ever see, the same nose with the same distinct bump on the bridge and our defined high cheek bones we inherited from our mother.

It was typical Friday afternoon in Scotland. It had been raining as usual but now had a little sunshine shining through my window. The weather seemed to metaphorically be sending me a message saying today was going to be a good day, that was until I remembered that I was supposed to be packing my whole life away into little boxes to start my new life at the other end of the world.. The fabulous sunny Australia.
It must have been around 12:30pm once I finally decided to remove myself from my bed. I wandered down the stairs in my blue pyjamas that had pugs imprinted all around the shorts, I made my usual breakfast (scrambled eggs on toast with apple juice) and watched some reruns of Jeremy Kyle while also reminding myself that I had to thank god that my family didn't end up like one of the guests. About 20 minutes later Lauren came down the stairs, she looked like she was the most excited she had ever been in her life. She came and sat with me and as usual stole some of my food.
"What are you so happy about?" I asked.
"I can finally get out of this hell hole, why are you so miserable?" She remarked.
"Well for 1. You have stolen some of my food, 2. I am not physically ready at all to be packing things in boxes today and 3. I don't even think I have to mention having to put up with Kyle annoying us on the plane for how many ever hours" I tiredly answered her.
"Oh well, I'm excited to move, aren't you? We always said we would love to move to Australia when we're older and now we actually get to do it, not to mention that Gran will be moving with us too which is great in itself" Lauren said.
"Yeah I guess I am happy, it's just going to be weird not seeing anyone for so long again" I answered her.
"Cheer up, you always have a face like a slapped arse anyways. Where's Mum, Kyle and Gran anyways?" She asked after finally noticing that we were in the house alone.
"Mums gone to pick Gran up and their going to get everything else we need for our plane ride there, she said we need to have the rest of our packing done before she gets back and I wasn't going to argue with her because she was in one of those moods" I explained
"Oh.. Okay well we better get it done now" Lauren said, Lauren knew exactly what mood I'm talking about. It's the mood where you don't question your mum on any of her instructions because she looks like she would kill you with one look.---------------------------------------------
We finally were on our way to our new life. I sat with Gran and Lauren and we made Mum sit on the other side with Kyle. We only had a few more hours left until we would need to drive 3 more hours to our new home. I was tired enough as it is, I don't think I want to be stuck in a moving vehicle for god knows how many hours.
Oh well, Australia.. Here we go.
