Once upon a time, in an innocent world, far away from sight, buried in a quiet forest, a small cottage hid. There, a small child was born to a woman whom had hair as white as snow and eyes like rubies. She loved this baby with all of her broken heart, and thus, she prayed to save this new life from her own cruel fate...

-------------

Once upon a time, in a cruel world, an innocent breeze knocked at the door, fleeting tweets danced across the sky, and the small child played without a care. The child wasn't to know that something would happen that day, that two men would venture into the forest in search of a red-eyed monster. That they would come across the child, and that she would see them and run to them holding flowers she picked, trying to give them to the men as she smiled, the men smiled too, but not with the same kind innocence her face glowed with...

One held a weapon in his hand, and with no mercy he hit the child. She screamed for her mother as they began to bind her flailing limbs with rope. The mother heard her cries, came to them, her eyes filled with rage, and she took her child into her arms, and looked for an escape, but she was grabbed by one of the men. She fell to the ground, her shaking child wrapped tightly in her arms as she cried out in pain.

With no remorse the other man hit the mother. Her blazing red eyes never left the attackers and they turned to stone, disintegrating in the lazy breath of wind. The mother's hair is now stained with her own blood and the tears of her weeping child. Her breaths were short and shallow, fading slowly, and she crumbled away, leaving a single red rose in her place. The child took the rose in her small hands and carried it home, leaving tears in her wake, a teary trail to her Quiet Place, where she continue to weep that night...

Once upon a time, in a lonely world, where no one ever passed by, the red roses were blooming, and the girl just sat there, sad eyes reading of the world that faded by. She read stories of long ago, and stories about a world that hated her for what she was. 'Don't look into their eyes' the Book said, 'they would run far way in fear at the very sight of her'. She did not blame them for being afraid. The world was just not ready for someone like her.

Once upon a time, in a simple world, a world made up from pictures in books, their lived a young women. Her hair was as white as the snow that fell on her birthday each year, and her eyes as red as the blood roses that bloomed near her house. A knock at the door echoed through the old and shaky house. She had never heard a sound like this before, so after placing her half-read book by her side, she cautiously made her way to the door, tripping over her own bare feet in her nervousness. She cowered behind the slowly opening door, that left her exposed and alone. On the other side of the door a young man stood. Mischief, surprise, and wonder flitted across his face like the racing clouds high above that peaceful forest, clouds the same colour as his soft white hair. He studied the young woman whom tried to hide herself from his red-eyed gaze, and slowly moving closer he took her into his arms. She became limp with shock, and he pulled back slightly, looking into his eyes and he smiled.

"Please don't cry," he said, "I was just like you, I was so scared when I used to turn every completely to stone, but..." His crimson eyes held joy as he took off his hoodie and wrapped it around her, "living in a world where no one is ever scared again, and all are accepted and happy to be just alive and well, now wouldn't that be nice?" Taking her by the hand, he lead her to the door, a gentle spring breeze skipped past them. She stopped.

"Can you please tell me how to get there?" Squeezing his hand tighter, soft tears gently rolled down her cheeks, "because I'm lost, and I can't find it by myself."

Once upon a time, in a beautiful world, the summer breeze came knocking again, blowing away all the the fear I once held. I stood there, and let it all blow away with the wind, so I can finally show you that beautiful smile you gave me that fateful day.
