Whats behind the door???

Here we go!

Chapter one

Emily knew something wasn't right when she woke up in the morning. She had a pain in the pit of he stomach as she walked downstairs to see her chocolate furred blue eyed Labrador puppy Milo in his crate. He was never in his there when she woke her mum and dad normally walked him in the morning and then kept him out of the crate while they had breakfast. Where was her parents? Why weren't they having breakfast?

She took milo out of his crate and held him in her arms while she went back upstairs to her parents room to see if for some weird reason they were still sleeping. The walk up the stairs felt like hours for her. She didn't no why her parents weren't downstairs like they had been for the past 16 years.

The worst went through her mind. As the thoughts went through she found herself gripping harder to Milo to gain comfort. Milo could obliviously sense something was wrong as he licked her neck and chin to show he was there for her.

She reached the top of the stairs were her parents room was and slowly reached out for the handle and opened the door. That's when she saw it. Her jaw dropped and she was stunned to stillness. She couldn't believe her eyes....

Okay this was only a short chapter sorry but I tried to work with cliff hangers to help the suspense grow.
