DAD
JUNE'S POV
So today I am leaving New York to move to California with my mother Cindy,my brother Josiah,my sister Lexi and my other sister Vanessa I haven't seen them in 12 years and I'm really excited finally see them. It was kind of hard trying to persuade my dad into letting me go but he finally came through.
It's 4:00am and my flight leaves at 7:00 I already have all my clothes packed I just have to get ready and I want to look my best when I see them but I also want to be comfortable so I hop in the shower and brushed my teeth and washed my face then I go in my suit case and take out my long summer dress it was turquoise and it was open in the back then I put on my diamond studded flats which were very comfortable after I was dressed it was 4:45 so I went back to my bathroom and curled my hair up then I started putting on some mascara,eyeliner and my nude lipstick from Mac. After that I went downstairs to eat some breakfast and are chef Lucy had came in early to make me something since I was leaving. I know it's gonna be hard for her as well because she's been here ever since I was 6 and she watched me grow from a little girl to a young lady.
Lucy-I'm gonna miss you so much
June-I'm gonna miss you to
Lucy-I don't want you to forget about me
June-I would never forget about you
Lucy-so how do you feel
June-I feel good I'm really excited to see my mom she always sends me pictures of her and my brother and sisters and I always talk to her on the phone but just the thought of seeing her in person is crazy
Lucy-I get it but don't let anything hold you back and you know if you need me just call me
June-I know and maybe you can visit me on your vacation
Lucy-I will definitely make sure that happens and when I do come down there you better be living at the top and not count on your dad for everything
June-do I ever count on my dad for everything
Lucy-good point (starts laughing) what time is it
June-5:20
Lucy-how long does it take for you to get down there
June-an hour
Lucy-well lets get your bags and say goodbye to your father I'll drop you off
June-ok thank you
I went upstairs grabbed all of my bags and went downstairs I had about 10 suitcases and all of them were pretty big and I didn't even get all of my clothes my dads gonna send them out there for me. After I took them downstairs I went back upstairs to my fathers room and knocked on the door
I had to knock at least 20 times for him to opened the door and I did so and then I heard his big feet walking to the door.
Dad-what happen and why are you up so early
June-do you not remember what day it is
Dad-oh shit your leaving
June-yeah I am
Dad-well let me hurry up so infant take you to the airport
June-I have to leave right now so Lucy is gonna take me
Dad-(starts crying)ok then give me a hug
June-don't cry dad you know you can always come down and visit or I will
Dad-alright alright I love you
June-I love you to
He walked me downstairs and helped me put my bags in the car and when we were done he gave me a big hug which made it hard for me to breathe
June-dad I can't breathe
Dad-sorry babygirl
June-it's okay I love you dad
Dad-love you to baby girl get there safe ok
June-ok
I got in the car and Lucy drive me all the way to the air port and I only had 20 minutes left to get to the plane before it flew off so I got my ticket and they took my luggage and I went to my part and I have on my ticket and they let me on the plane.
30 minutes later
We flew off and my ears started to pop so I played some music while chewing gum and after it lost all its flavor I threw it a ways and drifted off to sleep.
5 HOURS LATER
Pilot-we will be landing in 10 minutes
I look out the window and I see the plane about to land so I make sure that everything I have is right next to me and then I just wait.
10 minutes later
I get up to walk off the plane then I go pick up my luggage and it took me forever since I had so many bags so someone came and got me in a cart to take me out in front of the airport so I can hail a cab and when I finally do I tell him the address and it took us an hour to get there and when we do the cab driver get out so he can help me take out my backs and then I pay him and he leaves. I look up and I see a big house it's not as big as my dads but it's still big.
June's thoughts
ok June you can do this just walk up to the door and ring the door bell it's not that hard. But I'm really really nervous every ok breathe in breathe out breathe in and breathe out ok fuck it here goes nothing.
I finally build up the courage to ring the door bell and instantly someone answers the door bell and gives me a hug. I didn't get to see there face since they rushed towards me so fast.
Person-omg I missed you so much my baby girl is finally home
They finally let go of me and it's my mothers.
June-oh wow I missed you to you look so different
Mom-you to and you look gorgeous come on come inside I'll help you with your luggage
We both grab my bags and head inside of the house.
June-so where is everyone
Mom-they be every where now and days but make your self at homes cause this is your home and I'll show you your room in a little bit just leave your bags and explore around.
June-ok
