"I have to go," I said while putting my hair up into a ponytail.
"Honey I know. I just need you to take Luke and Bianca to school. I don't feel well enough," My mom said to me her blonde hair laid over her face like it had never been pulled up. It wasn't always like that. It used to make her shine like the morning sun. We shared only are hair which I had recently dyed black and pink.
"Fine but it's your fault if we're late." I put my skates on and grabbed my bag. Down the stairs and grabbed my little brother Luke. Bianca ran out.
"Are we going? I'm going to be late."
"Yeah well so am I Bianca. So am I."
"Bye mom," Bianca said hope for a normal reply.
"Make sure you eat breakfast," Mom yelled from another room.
"Let's just go Bee."
"Okay Zo."

After I droped of Luke and Bianca at their respective schools, I had about to two minutes to get to my school. Problem was I was about ten minutes away. Would I make it? Yeah. Probably.

I rushed through the streets. Picking up food and dropping change down. I saw one of the di Angelo (They were a really cute couple and had only got married last year.). I was almost there when the giant fountain was in my way. I turned around so I could get a decent skate up and started. Faster and faster until I hit the air and tumbled to the ground land hard on my ass and right in front the head of school.
"Hi Miss Clinton," I said with a big grin on my face.
"Your late again Miss Jackson."
'Won't happen again miss, I said while standing up preparing to leave so I could go to class. Yay (Note the sarcasm).
"You've been saying that for the last few weeks Zoë and then the next day you're late. Now normal I would be angrier but it the last day of the year so you'll get off without punishment."
"Thank you. I don't mean to be late it's just that...
"Zoë no more excuses. The school is calling your mother in. Everyone knows it's been hard on your family since your Dad died but there comes a point where you have to more on."
"Yep that seems like a great thing. But I don't think you understand what we're going through."
"I lost my husband and my son that same year Zoë. I know exactly what you're going through. But I'm moving on with my life."
"I'm sorry Miss Clinton but that doesn't always work like that. Look at my mom and my dad. They were soulmates. They did everything together. That broke her. She hasn't really left the house in years and she barely ever stops crying. You can't even have a normal conversation with her anymore. She won't come in."
"If she won't we'll just have to get some help from Mrs. Grace won't we? Until then get to class.'

When I got to class they had already had lunch and come back in for FST (Free study time). "Zozo you're here. Glad you could make it."
"Always nice to see you Valdez."
"Coming to practice tonight Zo?"
"Cause Tris. Wouldn't miss it."
"How's the sun shining Jackson?"
"Pretty rainy actually di Angelo. Thinking about it I saw..."
"Excuse me this is a class not a talkathon and people would like to actually work."
"Sorry Mrs. Stoll." I sat at my desk with Kistena di Angelo. Behind me were Tristan Grace and Sammy Valdez. Then to my left were the Zhang twins, Emma and Zach them was Amila Avila Ramirez who sat with a random that I didn't bother learning the name of.

Now you might know our parents or you might not. To be honest be glad if you don't. Throw a party. Haha. I'm joking you now know me so your life is in danger (Your welcome). Now if you can help it hope you're not a demigod (that's what are parents are) or what's called a legacy (that's what we are) because your life will end in pain and suffering. Look at my family for an example. My dad's dead. My mom is in some sort of constant mental break down. I'm apparently too relaxed about real world problems and I'm a "trouble maker". My sister Bianca is 11 and was witnessed more funerals then the average human should (including her fathers). Then there's Luke. Who's supposedly a reincarnation of mom and dad's dead friend who was kind of good and kind of evil. They even gave him the same name. Plus my siblings and I are all named after dead people. Yep what a great life.

Anyways we should get on with the story. We sat in class not doing anything until Mrs. Stoll gave up on keeping us quite. She just picked a magazine and started reading.
"So Kistena I saw your Dad in the plaza this morning," I said smiling sarcastically.
"Which one?"
"Sunshine."
"Yeah well I seen Moody since my birthday although we might be going to California next week. So maybe he'll be there. Enough about me what about you?"
"Don't even ask. I'm not in the mood to talk my life at the moment."
"No harm in asking Princess," Sammy said from behind me.
"Do you know the quality we all wish you hadn't gotten from your father?"
"His amazing looks." I wacked him hard in the face with the back of my hand.
"No it his big f..."
Miss Jackson your need in at the office," Mrs. Stoll said polity.
"This is not over Valdez."
"Never is Jackson. Never is."
