Chapter 1- The start of the long journey ahead
As mum would say "don't follow your dreams, chase them kiddo". Becky knew just how her mum would say it. "Dad, I wish mum was here to help me follow my dreams" Becky always had an upset tone to her voice whenever she talked about her mum who died in a fatal car crash with a fire engine 2 months after she was diagnosed with liver cancer.
As becky left her house in Portsmouth she turned on her heels to hear her dad say "good luck kiddo, show them your mad skills that your amazing father taught you". "Thanks dad i'll tell you what the score is as soon as I can". They both said their goodbyes before Becky headed off to her football match and her dad went to work. This seemed like a normal saturday to Becky and her dad but like always there was always something that didn't go to plan or something went wrong and the truth is they were just waiting for it to happen.
