Mackenzie Ziegler & the worst halloween ever

It was Halloween night. Mackenzie had her costume on her hair and makeup done. Mackenzie grabbed her neighbourhood map plan and she went to the garage to collect her Halloween bucket, she walked in and the door shut right behind her.
"Maddie" said Mackenzie
Thinking that it was Maddie.
"Maddie, open up please"
No answer. Mackenzie started to get a little worried that maybe it wasn't Maddie standing outside the door, maybe it was someone else. All of a sudden the door opened. Mackenzie screamed. It was only her mom.
"Sweet heart what's wrong. Your friends are here quick grab your bucket and go."
"Ok" said Mackenzie
So Mackenzie grabbed her bucket and ran to the front door to her friends. She said nothing about what just happened to her friends or ether her mom. It was 7pm at night. One more hour until Mackenzie had to start heading back home. Mackenzie and her friends had nearly finished the Halloween neighbourhood map walk they only had one more street to go down. They went down the street, a lot of people were down this street as it was the best Halloween street in the neighbourhood you always collected a lot of Halloween candy from this street. The first house they went to had a little maze before you got to the front door. This was mackenzie's favourite house on this street. Mackenzie and her friends were at the door collecting a lot of candy. It was the first house they went to on this street and there buckets were already full. On the way out of that little maze Mackenzie said to her friends.
"Maybe we will only go to a few houses as our buckets are nearly full and I need to be home by 8pm sharp."
Her friends agreed with Mackenzie. That was there plan for the rest of the night. It was just about 8. Mackenzie and her friends were just finishing up at the last house. At the start of Mackenzie's street, that's when she said her goodbye's to her friends before leaving them so they could go home and she could go home. When Mackenzie arrived home something seemed unusual but she went with the flow and sorted out all the candy she wanted and liked and all the candy she hated and didn't like. Maddie her sister came home a few minutes after her. She then sorted out her candy whilst Mackenzie went up stairs to take a shower. After Mackenzie took her shower she went straight to bed as it was very late on this Friday night. She turned her lights out and went to sleep. After turning the lights out Mackenzie said to herself
"Where's mom? Why did I came home and have that feeling that something was unusual?"
She thought about that for a while until she fell asleep.
