"Seeing Things"

I woke up startled.
In my little blue bedroom at the very end of the hallway. My covers were hugging me and making sweat slowly drip down my forehead. My lungs gasped for air but the air didn't budge to go in them. My chest felt like it was being crushed flat until it was a pancake that made in impossible to breathe.
I heard footsteps.
I heard the front door of the house open. I was very scared in how it was possible because the door was always locked during the night. How could someone be opening it? Fear was sensed in the air. I could feel the creaking of the wooden floor as the intruder tip toed down the hallway.
A telephone lied beside my bed.
"I need help." I thought. And I did indeed. Who do I call? Police! I went to extend my arm to reach for the telephone. But,
I couldn't move!
A sudden rush of panic came across me. I tried to lift up my arm again. But I couldn't. I tried to open my mouth to scream, but I couldn't! I could even turn my head. What is going on?
I was paralized!
Even more panic rushed through me! I decided to try to calm myself down. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. But when I tried, I focused on the heavy footsteps. The footsteps had suddenly stopped. I watched as the door knob slowly turned. The door creacked open. A man in a hoodie came in the room. He slowly walked over to my bed and stared down at my paralized body.
He sat on my lungs.
He just sat on me. It was impossible to breathe. No air came in and no air came out. His heavy body made me want to shriek, but I couldn't. I slowly then used all my might to move my thumb. I got it to physicly move a nudge. I wiggled it back and forward as I was loosing air faster than ever. I now focused on my finger. It was the only moving part of my body. The only thing that I could use to save me?
He looked down at me.
He noticed my thumb gently moving. And he jumped off my chest. A sudden relief filled me as I could finally breathe. It took me a few seconds to catch my breath again.
He put his face by my ear and said,
"I see your waking up, that's too bad, see you another time." He walked out of my room and made me scared that he would turn around and come back. I then heard the footsteps walk through the hallway and the front door close as he left.
I wiggled all of my fingers.
I started being able to move all my fingers on both sides. Then I focused on moving my arm, then my elbows, then my toes and knees. I worked on moving one part at a time. I was eventual able to fully move my body. I was then unparalized.
I got out of bed.
I scurred down the hallway. I then went to the front door of the house and yanked the knob.
Locked.
What? It was locked? Someone was in here...
