Ignore my Star Wars reference in a Sherlock fiction.
By the way, if you didn't guess yet, this is the author, not a new chapter ...
Yet.
Here's the deal -- earlier this week I got Ao3 caught up so they have all the chapters Wattpad's always had.
I finished two smaller fics within the past month (on Ao3), and it has inspired me -- I am not abandoning this.
Was it mostly written by the very anxious version of me? Why yes. Has my writing noticeably improved since then? I really hope so because I cringe reading some of this.
Nevertheless, this deserves it's ending. I originally wanted it to be the first half of a duology, and while I cannot promise the second half would also come, I can promise this one will be finished.
Even though I'm off to college in the fall and really really should be focusing a *little* bit more on that stuff.
So, I'm finishing this fic whether you like it or not.
But I have a question, if anyone sees this and would like to give me an answer after .... a year and a half.
Long story short: I want to retcon a lot from the past three to five chapters. There are some plot points I like, some I want to keep, but the timing was wrong -- And some plot points I *do* want to change.
But part of me thinks I could manage this without that, that I could finish the fic as is.
So do I respect younger me's decisions, or do I fix the few issues in the last chapters and *then* finish this for you guys?
Also, just kind of a "Hey! How are you?" honestly, it has been a while. How is everyone doing?
And enjoy the new cover! Drew it years ago, and finally tonight went and took the picture of it and did some minor digital edits. I think it looks pretty cool for fifteen year old me's sketching in church.
