Rainy Day - Chapter 1
I barely survive every day taking a bus to school, and don’t even mention when it’s raining. I huffed and waggled all the drips of water from my coat. I had forgotten to bring my umbrella with me today, so there goes my luck of getting dry for the rest of the day. My hair was already damp and I felt my socks getting wet inside my converse. I had to walk a couple more blocks to get to school and I blame my parents for living not close enough to my school for all the walking and taking buses that I had to do in the morning. Not to mention, of course I’m not a morning person. I will wake up at 3 on the weekends because I barely get any sleep during the weekdays.
But feeling pretty stupid, I asked myself why did you wear a converse instead of boots when it was raining? Huh, then out of nowhere a motorbike came speeding and splashed waters all over my jeans. Before I got very very angry, I saw the color of it, it was black, and well I could see him stopping in my school. Just wait, you stupid bastard, I’m going to hunt you down. I was very hopeless at the moment with my very soaked clothing.
5 minutes later, I got to school and well, I’m the center of the attention. Some of the people were laughing at me and some of them were staring. But the laughter’s always come out of my silly friends of course. Caleb shoved my shoulder with his and chuckled, and his umbrella was a little too late, I’m already wet. I landed my eyes on the motorbike that splashed me the waters and put a smirk on my lips. Zeke Turner, I will hunt you down boy.
“Have you lost your mind woman? It’s raining, and you don’t have anything on literary” Caleb laughed
“I’m aware of that, this is just not my lucky day and I’m sure as hell it won’t be too for Zeke Turner” I had my evil smirk on
“You’re funny honey” He chuckled
“I wasn’t kidding”
“Oh, I know that. You never kid babe”
“Never” I whispered
I went to my locker and I was relieved because I saved some spare shirt in there just in case something like this happened. And today was the day that this happened. I sighed and jumped at the same time when Liz poked my ribs. I looked at her and pouted, hoping she has some extra pants. She looked at me and gave the ‘You LOOK like SHIT’ look. I rolled my eyes and slap her arm
“What happened? Do I wanna know?” She asked
“No, you don’t. But let’s just say someone will cry like a baby today and it’s not going to be me” I grinned
“You’re weird”
“You’re confused, that’s what you are” I stuck out my tongue at her
“Whatever, you want to borrow some shorts?” She asked
“Shorts? Are you kidding me? It’s effing cold enough and I don’t need to freeze to death thank you”
“Well, I don’t have sweats or pants, so your call” She shrugged
“Just give me it” I sighed
Chris and Caleb were walking towards us and I could tell from afar, they were making fun of me judging from their faces. I narrowed my eyes and glared at them. Chris is Caleb’s fraternal twins, they look very alike but you can tell which are which by their hair colors and which one has freckles.
“You are so wet Rhea” Chris smirked and wiggled his eyebrows
“You’re a dick”
“Obviously someone’s grumpy this morning” Chris laughed
