Lost love

First Date (Part 1)

Rebecca's POV
I couldn't believe what happened yesterday. Well, basically, Kenn confesed to me and told me to break-up with Justin.
-FLASHBACK-
I knocked at Justin's door. After a few more knocks, the door finally opened. "Uh..h-hey, Rebecca!", he nervously greeted me. Why does he seems nervous? "Why are you nervous?", I couldn't help but ask out of curiosity. "N-no I'm n-not!"

"Yes you are!"

We were arguing by the door with Kenn beside me when a girl just barged in. "What's going on here, Justin?"

"Baby, I-"

"Wait! Your having an affair with her?!", I shockingly asked. "I'm sorry R-Rebecca, but, I'm just bored of you. All you do is read and study-"

"Sshh..it's ok, Justin. Truth is, I don't really love you. I'm in love with Kenn."

"So, it's alright? Your not mad or anything?"

"Nah. It's totally fine."

"Cool. So uh, I guess we'll have to part ways now, don't we?"

"Yup. I think so too. Bye, Justin. Thanks for your service in my life."

"Bye. Your talking like einstein."
I giggled at his reply, although I liked it.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
So, basically, it all went smoothly. Not like other break-ups where they got emotional and all.
Kenn invited me to eat dinner with him in a diner later. Although I would rather prefer a fast food restaurant, I'll just go with it, for his sake.

I waited until it was 8:00 until when he finally arrived. I'm wearing a bright yellow knee-lenth dress, paired with red heels. My hair is messy but sexy. For my make-up, I just made it simple, so it can match my simple attire. I look good, if I may say to myself. "Hey", he greeted.

"Hey"

"So uh, don't complain if it's a diner. They just serve delicious food there that I couldn't resist."

"It's alright. I don't mind."
We drove our way to the diner Kenn was talking about. "Unresistable Food", I read out aloud.

"UF diner, for short. It's not that good but the food tastes am-"

"Amazing."

"Haha..right."
We went in. It's not that big but it's cute. It's decorated with mouth-watering food posters at the wall, flowers and red stools. "This place is nice."

"Wait until you taste their food."
Kenn guided me to one of the stools. I looked at the displayed menu, revealing the food they served. They looked so delicious. "What would you like?"

"Mhm, let me see..how about some chicken wings, crispy fries, and some coffee."

"Coffee doesn't compliment your choice of dish. I'll oreder you orange juice. How's that sound?"

"Ok. What will you order?"

"Mhm..probably my usual: cheese burger, sour and cream fries and coke."

"Sound's delicious."

"It is. Wait-let me just call the waitress here. Uhm, excuse me?", he said. A girl wearing a white, short-sleeved top, red checkered skirt and a pink apron turned around and approached us. "Yes, sir?"

"I would like to have a cheese burger, sour and cream fries and a glass of coke."

"How about your girl, sir?"

"Chicken wings, crispy fries and a glass of orange juice."

"Do you like some of our 'Special Meals'?"

"What's in it?"

"First is pasta with banana shake. Seco-"

"I'll have the pasta with banana shake. Wait-make that two."

"Ok. I'll be right back with your orders. Please excuse me..."
Once she left, I heard my phone ringing. It's from Skylar. "Hey girl. Wazzup?!"

"Hey Sky. Why did you call?"

"Where are you? What are you doing? Who's with you?"

"I'm in a diner, eating, Kenn."

"Answer me properly."

"Ugh, fine. I'm in a diner, having a date with Kenn"

"Turn around"
I did as she says and to my surprise, she was behind me. "Skylar? What are you doing here?"

"I work here"

"I tought you were with your bf at this hour"

"We broke up"

"W-what? How?"

"I found out that he was cheating on me. It was horrible, really. But, I got over it."
We talked until our food came. I noticed that Kenn wasn't doing anything at all.
