Flashback...

Tris lay there in the hospital bed sleeping in a coma, she was stupid enough to go out that night with the boy. She had a faltering skin tone and never tanned, she was tiny in stature and was an only child fending for herself.

Tris had been thrown out of the car resulting in her being in critical condition, she had been in the hospital for three months already and was unresponsive. Tris was sixteen years of age and knew she was a disappointment to her parents, her hair had been shaved completely so the doctors could make sure everything was alright with the girl and there wasn't any trouble with her.

Tris wondered if her love had made it, she didn't know. She sighed slightly then and it hurt her to breathe, she wasn't really making any progress but she would do what she could.

The girl moaned slightly trying to move a little which was some sign of improvement, she didn't really have anyone to be there for her either. She'd lost her parents when she'd become pregnant and the baby was killed on impact.

She could never forgive herself for killing her child, the baby had only been 6 months old and it was a precious little girl. She didn't know what to do anymore, the pain was unbearable.

Tris would be so devistated if she'd lost both her loves, she'd loved her baby like crazy and this really hurt her. She remembered nothing of the previous events and didn't know who she was, she didn't know anything about herself or her family.

The wallet with the pictures of Tris as she was pregnant before during and after as well as the pictures of her and her boyfriend and her daughter, she'd lost so much but she had faith she at least had her boyfriend.

Tris felt a slightly squeeze and it made her hand warm up, she smiled weakly then as she attempted to open her eyes.

Flashforward...

Tris was saddened and paralyzed from the waist down, she wouldn't really be able to walk or anything ever again. She believed deep down though with physical therapy and the support of her mother and father and friends she would be able to regain her strength in her muscles and walk once more.

She had been so sad when she found out that she'd lost not only her baby girl Hope but she'd lost her boyfriend as well, she knew she'd messed up by having sex out of marriage but she knew she was forgiven as well.

Tris tried to remember everything, she was upset whenever she couldn't remember anything. Sometimes it was too much for her.

She didn't mind the scars or anything though because it made her stronger day by day, it was a part of her characteristics. Tris bit her lip slightly then as she maneuvered her way out of bed, she wasn't good at this just yet but she was learning the ropes of being a handicapped person.

The house was renovated to her satisfaction and she still lived alone knowing and going through the guilt that she'd killed her family. Tris had been the one driving the totaled car, she couldn't deal with the pain of losing them everywhere she went.

Now she'd never be able to drive again but that still kept her determined to prove the doctors and her parents and everyone else wrong.

The house had pictures of her loves, she had a lift for herself and some other paintings and pictures. She liked the purple walls in her house and it was a new nice one too, she didn't mind the way the colors on her walls contrasted with her almost death pale skin.

Tris was paper thin now that she was delicate, she let out a sob as she fell onto the floor, she was more then determined. As much as this hurt her she needed to get up, she had to walk.

If not for herself then for her deceased family, she was beyond upset. She bit her lip slightly as she reached up to her bed and night table to try and let her up, she felt terrible. She gasped somewhat then as she tried to grasp it with shaking sweaty hands.

The girl ended up coming out of her coma six years later somewhat strong, she had missed five birthdays because of her coma but she'd managed to snap out of it. She felt better knowing she was able to get around for the most part.

Tris pressed the button on her cell phone to get help, she couldn't do it. It could take her hours to get off the ground if she managed and she didn't want that. She was in too much pain to even try getting up.
