Description of the book:
Lailah isn't an average sixteen year old girl. Her life gets turned upside down when she suddenly starts finding icicles hitting her back in the shower, snow covering all of her bedroom floor like blankets and the fact that it's always summer outside where they live and Lailah has never seen snow before. How in the world is she supposed to react to that?
Requirements for the cover:
She wanted "I want a girls hands facing palm up with a snowflake balancing in the air floating above her hands."
How did I complete the cover?
Well I had to try find a girl hands facing up. It took a while but then I found a girl hands out in snow. I was happy with the photo however the hands and arms of the girl had frost all over them and LuvUMyAngel wasn't satisfied. She liked the picture but not the frost. I tried to remove the frost, but I couldn't do back to square one.
However I found a picture with one hand out with a green background with a butterfly near by the hand. I like the position of he hand but nothing else. So I had to cut out the butterfly and change it to a green background. All was left was the snow flake. I found a single snowflake with a black background. It too me a while but I finally removed the background. So after placing the snowflake I was finished. Well I joint I was finished but the picture gave a weird white glare which didn't look good. So after a wile trying to balance the picture out I finally finished!! What do you think?
