Liv's POV
Harry and I walk out of the bank into blinding flashes of light. Lights so bright it must be day, except it isn't. It's just after 3:00 am.
"Harry! Tell us what happened to you inside the bank!" Some reporter shouts.
"Who's with you?! What's her name?! Is she your girlfriend?!" Someone else yells.
"Harry! Harry!" A familiar Irish voice yells.
Then there's the screaming. Fans I guess.
Suddenly we're rushed by reporters and cameramen. Everyone is yelling, shoving, and all I feel is Harry being pulled away from me.
There are police lights flashing against the windows of the bank. Martin Street is filled with police cars and news crews. It's all very disorienting after being in a small room with extremely low light for hours.
I'm not holding Harry's hand anymore. We said we wouldn't get separated and I look to find him, but can't see anything because of the crowds of people behind barriers, complete chaos.
There's a ton of cops. Who knew there were this many cops in Arthursburg.
I see Chuck waving at me from beside an elderly woman that I presume is his wife by the way she's clinging to him.
The crying bank teller is still crying, wrapped in a blanket, and in the arms of a very tall man.
The military guy is talking to police. I wonder if he was involved in getting us rescued?
"Livvie!" I hear a voice shout from the other direction.
I turn towards the voice and see Mia, shoving past people trying to get through.
"Mia!" I shout. I run past several police officers and an ambulance.
I look inside but see no one is in the ambulance, so hopefully it's just here as a precautionary measure, in case people were hurt.
"Oh my God, girl! Are you OK?! What the FUCK!" She throws her arms around my neck and squeezes me.
"No, I'm ok! I'm so glad to see you!" I say. I'm beyond thrilled to see her, but I'm still thinking about Harry.
She releases me and I turn around to see if I can see him.
"Your parents were on their way but the storm caused the roads to be closed and they're stuck in Libertyville. I told them we'd meet them tomorrow, but they're expecting you to call them asap."
"Ok, I'll call...."
"Fuck, is it true he was REALLY in there?! FUCKING HARRY STYLES?! It's been all over the news for hours! Did you see him? What was Harry Styles doing in a BANK in ARTHURSBURG?!" Mia asks.
I see the reporters. Still no Harry.
"I, uh...." I can't focus on talking when I'm looking for Harry at the same time.
I'm straining to find him. I know he's there. That much is obvious. I start walking back towards the reporters. That's where he is. There's too much commotion for it to be anything else. The detectives we gave our names and phone numbers to are talking with Guy Walsh from Channel 10 News out of Chicago. He's the local evening anchor for that channel. That's usually the news I watch.
"Livvie! What are you doing?" Mia says, running after me.
"Just need to see..."
"Oh shit, is that HIM?!" Mia says, excitedly. She's staring big time. It has to be Harry.
