I wake up as if it's a normal day but then I remember that its Graces 18th birthday,
She doesn't know yet but her friends have a surprise for her.
I wonder if she will be happy. Will she like it?
I check my phone, it's 5:00 why do I always wake up so early?
Whatever.
I text Ariel "HEY! Wake up! Today's the day, you think she'll like it?"
Shortly after she replies, "gah I'm awake. But YASS she'll love it!"
I'm so awake at 5:00 it's weird. I guess I'm just so excited, I'll wait for another hour to text Grace she needs to be well rested for today's surprise.
Its 5:45 so I text Elaine "GOOD MORNING" , she replies with, "morning." This is why we call her grumpy gills. I talk to Elaine until 6:00 until it's time to text Grace.
"WAKE UP. WAKE UP. WAKE UP!" I text her, she replies ten minutes later, hopefully my text woke her up.
"I'm up", she texted back.
"Cheer up it's yo 18th birthday!"
"Oh yeah it is, isn't it"
"It is!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
"Thanks"
She the baby of the group because she's the youngest
David texts me, "so when are we gonna tell her?"
I reply, "about 11. I'm thinking about all of us going to have brunch at Dairy Queen then we tell her"
"Yeah that sounds great"
It's about 8:00 and there nothing to do!! I get in my car and go to Walmart to get Graces a little gift and when I was in I see Elaine
Wow she's beautiful
I run over to her and ask, "why are you here?"
"I thought I should get Grave something so she doesn't suspect the surprise"
"Haha me too"
I walk with her to get her present for Grace and she walks with me.
"What do you get her?" Elaine asked
"I got her a-"
I get a text from Ariel "are you about ready to go to DQ?"
Looking at the time on my phone I get surprised it's 10:55
Good thing DQ is only tree minutes away from Walmart
"Elaineeeeee we have to go"
She walks over to the register with me and we check out. We go over to DQ to see David and Ariel sitting next to each other, me an Elaine go over to them and sit next to them.
"Everyone text Grace to get her a** to Dairy Queen"
Everyone texts her, she doesn't reply but she showed up 10 minutes later,
She walks in the fort seeing us all sit together "uh what's happening?" She asks.
"Were having brunch" I say
"Oh okay" she replies
We all order and everything and get deserts and stuff, Grace gets something special sense it's her birthday.
We all give her our "fake" surprises.
"Is this why we all came here?"she asked
"No we have a big surprise for you, we all help with it and were hoping you like it" I reply
"Well what is it?"
We'll tell you when we're done eating.
