"What's going on?" asked Stevie.
"It's nothing." replied Jessie.
"If it's nothing than why were you screaming? Seriously what's going on?" asked Stevie.
"I told you it's nothing! Just don't worry about it, it's best that you not get involved in this." replied Jessie.
"Fine but if it gets worst then I'm stepping in!" said Stevie.
"No, I'll be fine, everything is okay." said Jessie.
Stevie left Jessie standing there. Jessie was left with a big secret, she couldn't control what had happened then, but she wasn't going to let that take over her life now. Where ever Malklana was Jessie wasn't scared, she realized what she had to do to stop Malklana. She became stronger as the day went on. Soon it was time to go home. Jessie, Riley, and Will walked to the bridge and sat down.
"Hey Jess, what was going on today at school?" asked Will.
"It was nothing don't worry about it, I'm fine. I better get going. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Jessie left them with a fake smile, and walked home, alone.
When she got home she walked downstairs to her room, put her backpack away and walked back upstairs, nobody was home, dad was in Alaska on a business trip. Her mom died in a car accident back in 2009. Nothing was the same. everything was complicated for her, because nobody could understand her life.
"Malklana! Where are you?!"yelled Jessie.
"Right here, do you want to play with me?" asked Malklana.
"No, but I wanted to ask you something." replied Jessie, she was calm on the outside, but on the inside she was screaming.
"What did you want to ask me?" asked Malklana.
"Malklana, I wanted to make this right, and I don't mean this in a bad way but why didn't you go to heaven, why are you still here on earth when you should be at home in heaven? Please don't take that in a mean way." said Jessie.
"Jess, I... I... I... well, don't exactly know why I'm not in heaven where I should be, I want to be there but, I'm not, that's where I want to go. I'm just scared that I won't be able to be with you when I'm there and when you need me." replied Malklana.
"Malklana, please understand this, I didn't want you to die, you were my best friend, I didn't want to let go, I felt like it was my fault for letting you get hit by that truck, but I couldn't control that. Now that I can see you and hear you and talk to you now, it brings back those memories and that feeling that I caused it when i had no control of it, and I'm sorry!" said Jessie.
