Krissa's POV
Brantley left the shop not long after Ms. Becky dropped by to inform us of our Sunday plans. I was going to make dinner at my place, but Brantley insisted I come to the cabin since the kitchen is bigger and he wanted to pick up the groceries. I gave him a detailed list as he walked out the door and I locked it behind him.
I was running the last report when my phone beeped. It was Brantley; I'm back at the cabin. When you think you'll be here? I was going to tune up my bike if you think I've got enough time before dinner.
I locked the safe and text him back; I will be there in about 45 min. Need to stop by my place and feed the critters. It will take about an hour + before dinner is done. So you've probably got plenty of time. And If not you can stop when the food is done and I'll help you finish up after desert.
Brantley; I didn't get desert. It wasn't on the list :(
Me: I've got it covered. :) see ya in a bit.
Brantley: be careful doll. The deer are on the move.
Me: will do Big Guy. ;)When I walked in the cabin Brantley had the kitchen cleared and ready for me to start cooking. Good thing I like music in the back ground. He had AC/DC blaring in the garage. I laid out all the ingredients and go to work. After the biscuits were in the oven I poked my head into the garage to let him know dinner would be done in about 30 minutes. Figured that would be plenty of time for him to wash up. I figured wrong. He was sitting on his knees next to one of his bikes in an old ratted up pair of jeans with so much oil and grime caked on him I thought it would take a pressure washer to clean him up. Did I mention he was shirtless. And I must have been drooling, because as soon as he saw me he smirked. "Did you need help reaching somethin shortie?" He asked me laying his wrench down and reaching for a shop rag. "Ummm ummm no. I was just going to tell you to wash up. Everything will be done in about 30 minutes." He stood and walked towards the radio turning it down as I kept talking. "Apparently I should have said something an hour ago." I chucked at my own joke then almost choked on my own tongue when be stated taking off his jeans. " What are you doing? I'm sitting right here!" All he had to say was, "I'm aware darlin, it ain't like I'm shy. But that blush on those pretty cheeks and the lustful glint in those eyes tells me you are and youll get over it real quick." With those words he kissed me on the cheek, tossed his jeans on the garage floor next to an old pair of boots and walked into the house in nothing but his boxers and a smug smile. The oven timer jarred me from my lustful trance just in time to save the biscuits from burning.
