Chapter 21: Meeting The Parents

  The Next Day
Raven's P.O.V.

Wow...last night was amazing I thought as I started waking up but as soon as I sat up all the events since transferring to Kohana High came to mind. "Holy shit my life has been very eventful the past two weeks, maybe now it can be peaceful." I said to myself. "Raven, are you alive down there?" Pein said from upstairs "No." I replied back rolling my eyes "Haha, very funny when your done being dead come upstairs I wanna hear all about last night over breakfast." Pein said before walking away. This should be fun I thought to myself as I got up and started heading upstairs. Hmm I wonder what Sasuke is doing today.

The Uchiha Residence
Sasuke's P.O.V.
"Good Morning Sasuke, how was the dance?" my mom asked when I walked in the living room "Morning mom, and it was amazing." I said sitting on the couch. "Didn't you take that Uchiha that's also a Uzamaki?" My dad asked reading his newspaper "Yes, I did, and her name is Raven" I said defensively "Sasuke, you should invite her over for dinner!" My mom said excitedly "I don't know if that's a good idea." Itachi said joining us "Why's that?" My father asked putting his paper down "Because I used to go out with Raven till I made a mistake, but we are on good terms I just don't know if she would feel comfortable having dinner with her boyfriend and her ex boyfriend." Itachi said sitting down "Well how about this, Sasuke ask her if its okay and if she can come and if she says yes tell her to come at six." My mom said drinking her tea. "Okay, I'm going to take a shower first." I said getting up ad heading to the bathroom. I wonder what Raven will say.

Few Hours Later
"So what's going on Sasuke?" Itachi asked coming into my room. "Nothing, why are you in here?" I asked looking at him "Because mother asked me to come see if you asked Raven yet, and from what I see I don't think you have. Why?" Itachi asked sitting on my bed "Because of father, he is so uptight about the family name I feel that he may be rude to Raven because she is a Uchiha and Uzamaki." I said sighing "I guess I can understand that, but Raven has mainly Uchiha traits especially in the talent trait. Dad will respect her a lot when he finds out exactly why she transferred schools and all of her talents. Don't doubt our father to much and besides Raven will probably charm our father." Itachi explained with a smile on his face. "What do you mean charm him?" I asked confused "Raven is a Uchiha she has the famous charm plus she has some Uzamaki in her that doubles it. Raven can charm anyone she wants. Raven has a way of making people like her if she wants them too. She did it to us" Itachi said laughing "Oh... I guess your right." I said picking up my phone and looking at it "Go call her" Itachi said leaving.
So I turned my phone on and called her, on the third ring she picked up. "Sasuke! Hey what's up??" She asked "What are you doing today?" I asked her tapping my fingers "Nothing why?" she asked curious "Well my mom really wants to meet you and so does my dad so they want you to come over for dinner later." I said nervously "Awe are you nervous? That's cute. But I don't know." She said teasingly "Shhh, But please otherwise my mom is going to hunt you down till she meets you." I said smirking at my lie ".....Are you serious?" Raven asked shocked "Haha, no that was payback, but seriously come I wanna see you." I said smirking knowing she is gonna say yes "Hmm how about no." She said seriously "Oh okay" I said quietly "Haha i'm just kidding, I could tell you had that famous smirk of yours on your face so I had to mess with you. But I would totally wanna come and meet your parents!" She said excitedly "Sweet, I'll see you at six." I said smiling "Okay bye Sasu-gay" She said hanging up the phone.

Few Hours Later
"Sasuke get the door!" My father yelled from the dining room as I was finishing up my hair. "Coming!" I said walking to the door and opening it. "Hi Sasuke" said smiling at me "Umm H-Hey Raven, you look beautiful" I stuttered while letting her in "Awe your nervous that's cute! And you don't look bad yourself" Raven said teasingly while messing up my hair. "Hey Raven, glad you could make it." Itachi said coming downstairs, shit...I forgot to ask her if she would be okay with him being here "Hey Itachi it's good to see you" Raven said sweetly giving him a friendly hug. "You too, Sasuke stop keeping her all to yourself, go introduce her to our parents." Itachi said leaving the room. "Sorry, I forgo to tell you he was here." I mumbled looking at her "It's fine Sasuke, Me and Itachi are on good terms. Now let's go meet the parent's of The famous Sasuke Uchiha." Raven teasingly taking a hold of my hand and squeezing it. "Heh, okay let's go to the kitchen to meet my mom first." I said leading her to the kitchen.
"Hey mom. This is my girlfriend Raven." I said when my mom saw us enter the kitchen. "Oh my, what a beautiful young girl, it's nice to finally meet you Raven, I've heard very little about you." My mom said smiling "It's a pleasure to meet you too Mrs.Uchiha." Raven said politely back "Oh no please call me Mikoto!" My mom said laughing "Okay. Is there anything I can help you with?" Raven asked smiling and let go of my hand "No, I can handle this dinner is almost done. And plus you are the guest of honor so I don't want you to worry about helping out. But thanks for asking." My mom said patting her shoulder. "Do you want anything to drink?" I asked her walking to the fridge "Water, please" she said sweetly. "Here's you're water Doll, let's go in the dining room." I said smirking at my nickname for her "I'm a doll now? Okay." Raven said hiding a smirk. As we walked into the dining room I saw my dad and Itachi already sitting down. "Hey dad, this is Raven." I said tensing up, I guess Raven took notice and held my hand squeezing it. "So you are the Uchiha who is also a Uzamaki." My father said taking a quick glance up at her before returning to his paper "Yes I am, it's a please to meet you Mr.Uchiha." Raven said politely and observed my father. "Here, sit down." I said pulling out her chair "Thank you Sasuke." She said smiling at me "Call me Fugaku. I only use formalities in business events." My father mumbled as I took seat. "Dinner is ready! Fugaku I better not see that newspaper when I get out there!" My mom said in the kitchen.
After my mom had all the food on the table and we started eating is when the questions started. "So Raven, Sasuke doesn't talk much about his relationships, so we would like to get to know you. How about you tell us about yourself?" My mom asked taking a sip of her water "Sure, I live with friends, my guardian is Pein he is a close family friend and he was there for me at my old school when I was going through a rough time. I recently transferred to Kohona because my dad thinks they have better music and literature courses that would work with my skill level. I have many talents the main one being singing and playing my guitar, my other talents our cooking, writing, acting, drawing, painting. And I have an older brother. Not much to say about me." Raven said placing a piece of her hair behind her ear nervously. "You are by far one of the most talented Uchiha girl's I've ever met." Fugaku said admiring her " You have to let us here you sing one time" Mikoto said. " Thank you, and I have a video of the performance me and Sasuke had to do at school if you would like to see it after dinner" Raven said smiling "We would love to!" My mom said excitedly "So tell me who is your father? and why aren't you living with him?" My father asked curious "My dad is Ren Uchiha, I don't live with him because he is always away on business trips so I never see him so he agreed that I could live with my friend Pein he is very responsible for me and acts just like an older brother." Raven said nervously "Oh, I see that is a smart father. You are young so you still need somebody to look after you, I do know Pein because I went with Itachi to help move him in a few years. Hmm now that I think about it I do remember seeing a girl who looked like a younger you by two years." Fugaku said looking at Raven "Yep that was me, that was a month after I moved in." Raven said sweetly.
The rest of the dinner went pretty well and after we all finished eating Raven showed them the video of us singing and my parents couldn't believe how good Raven is. After that they let me and Raven go to my room for a little bit.
"Well that was fun." I said sarcastically laying on my bed watching Raven look around my room observing everything. "Yeah, I enjoyed it, I really like your mom she is very sweet. Your dad not so sure...... He is very hmm your dad is very serious and was really trying to get info out of me." Raven said quietly while looking at the pictures of me I have in my room "Hmm who knows. Come here Raven, I can tell you were getting nervous and uncomfortable when he asked you about your dad." I said reaching my hand out to her, she grabbed and I slowly pulled her next to me on my bed and held her in my arms " I'm still trying to open up certain things to people, and tonight was a little helpful." Raven said laying her head on my chest. " You did a good job doll, don't push yourself." I said kissing the top of her head.
