I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I roled over and looked at the time 6:45am. Great, prefect morning. As I get out of bed I look out the window, I see a beautiful sunrise with orange, yellow and pink.
"Beautiful" I whisper so quietly I just hear myself.
I quickly get changed and brush my hair. I look in the mirror and see my reflection. Big green eyes with a pointed chin, high cheek bones, peachy skin and sandy brown hair.
I quickly and quietly run downstairs to discover that Grandpa was already awake. So much for not waking him.
"Well you look nice today" he said politely,
"Thanks, has Tobias been fed?" I respond quickly.
"No,"
Opps, I had cut him off by walking outside. I run to the barn to feed Tobias, luckily I hadn't woke him by opening the door, he had already been awake and strangely calm. I guess he finally got settled in. Throwing a flake of hay in the pasture, I opened the door to let him out and he bolted out as soon as it opened. I quickly ran after him to shut the gate.
I was running back to the house when I remembered I forgot to close the barn door. I leaped in the front door and grabbed my backpack.
"Grandpa, can you shut the barn door? I gotta run, bus will be here anytime now." I say
"Yeah, I guess. I have to feed Pal anyways." he shouts after me as I sprint out the door.
