Karkat was 8 sweeps old, Which was 16 in human years. He moved schools due to bullying problems at his old one. The humans being forcfully and physically rough on him. He would come home beaten and bloodied. Kankri his brother would of course always take care of him.
Today was karkats first day at the new school. He got his schedule and headed to his locker. Once he got their he took a seat in the back. He looked at who was sitting beside him. One was another troll that looked kinda nerdy. He had a tall slender frame and bicolored glasses to match his eyes. Two large and sharp horns coming out from his spiky hair. He woar gray skinny jeans and a black t-shirt with the gemini symbol on it. He also had two large front teeth. Probably making it hard to speak. He looked to his right. This time it was a human. He was tall and slender. But more buff. He had blond hair that brushed over dark shades. He had an expressionless face and wasn't paying attention at all to the teacher. Actually, karkat thought he was pretty cute. He blushed slightly and looked away when the guy noticed him staring and gave him a smirk. Karkat covered his blush to hide his blood color and turned to pay attention to the lesson. As soon as the bell rang he was out. He was heading to his next class when the guy in shades stoped him. He introduced himself as Dave strider and asked for karkats name. Dave smirked and stepped closer. Examining him closely. He nodded and Said it was nice to meet him and that he would see him later. He walked away and disappeared into a class room. Karkat glared after him and went to class.
