RACHEL-
Even after two weeks in New York, I still couldn’t look Chaz in the eyes. “Hey babe.” Justin said wrapping his arm around my waist. I jumped, tearing my eyes away from the ground. “Whoa, jumpy today huh?” I just nodded settling down on the airplane seat. After a week in the Bahamas and two weeks in New York we are finally heading back to California to get ready for tour. I still can’t erase my mind of what happened to first day we arrived in New York.
Chaz walked in the room. “I need to apologize.”
Yeah, apologize for what you may ask. For helplessly falling in love with me, even though I am dating his best friend.
I turned around from the mini fridge. Chaz was right there; suddenly his lips were against mine.
I shuddered at the thought.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!”
I still remember the happy look in his eyes, like he had won a prize. That is until I shoved him from the room. So here we are now. I spent all my time in New York avoiding him and I finally get what I want. Once we arrive in California, Ryan and Chaz are back off to Canada and it’s me and Justin against the world. Or well, singing for the world. Julie and Kenny, our bodyguards (I like saying ‘our’) take their seats behind Justin and me on the plane. I sighed. “Whatcha thinking about?” Justin asked, holding my hand.
“How wonderful it’s going to be when we get back to California.” I said squeezing his hand.
“Yep, and our troubles are being deported.” I smiled.
“You’re Canadian too.” I pointed out. He smiled.
“But you want me here.” Justin said. Sometimes it was strange hearing him talk about how he didn’t want his friend here. He said he still likes Chaz and they wouldn’t ever not be friends, but he couldn’t be with us together. That sounds mean, but I am quite okay with it.
“I most definitely want you here.” I said leaning on his shoulder. He stroked my hair and I closed my eyes. Until Kenny started talking.
“Guys just got a text from Scooter. When we land we have to go right to the studio, Scooter’s got some papers you need to sign Rach, manager transfer papers.” Just then the pilot told everyone to turn off phones and all electronics. Kenny sighed and Justin laughed. Once we were in the air and allowed to use IPods and such, Justin pulled his out and handed my one of the headphones. He turned it on and played my favorite song ever, Best Love Song by T-Pain. I smiled and closed my eyes taking a nap.
JUSTIN-
I looked so peaceful sleeping on my shoulder. I looked out the window at the darkness slowly disappearing. We headed into the sun. Julie tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to look at her.
“Is she asleep?” I nodded. “What’s going on with her and Chaz?” Julie asked. She obviously knew something was up.
“He’s been trying to date her.” I explained the whole story. Julie looked shocked.
“She loves you, you know that right.” Julie said looking at Rachel.
“Yeah, and I love her.” Julie smiled and settled back into her seat. I slowly drifted off to sleep.
RACHEL-
I woke up to the pilot’s voice thanking us for flying with them. Justin picked me up and Kenny grabbed my overhead bag. “I can walk.” I said groggily. Justin smiled.
“I like carrying you so much more.” He said I smiled and cuddled into him. He carried me out of the gate then I hoped out of his arms and thanked Kenny for carrying my bag. We walked down to baggage claim and grabbed our bags and Raisin, my adorable Dachshund puppy. Kenny got a cart and loaded all the luggage onto it. I got Raisin out of the kennel and put her on a leash then we headed out to face more paparazzi. I’ve missed California.

“It was amazing.” I gushed to a reported asking about our time in the Bahamas. I lied of course.
“Is it true you left for New York only a week in?”
“That’s correct.” Justin said. Chaz and Ryan were tagging along with us; the constant questions seemed to make them nervous. Kenny and Julie were making a walk way to the limo.
“When do Chaz and Ryan leave?” I whispered to Justin.
“In a week, when we start tour.” I nodded, not soon enough. When we were in the safety of the limo I pulled out my phone and turned it off airplane mode. Five miss calls. Who the heck was calling me? I looked through my phone. Mom, mom, mom, mom… dad. My dad actually called. I quickly called his phone.
“Dad.” I said happily when he answered.
“Hey baby girl! I haven’t spoken to you in a while.” He said. “No, I’m on the phone with my daughter.” I heard him tell someone. Then I heard the buzz of a female voice. My heart sank.
“Who are you talking to dad?”
“Oh, uh, April.” My dad said quietly.
“Who’s April?” I asked.
“My, my fiancé.”
“Dad!”
“We just got engaged yesterday.” My dad sounded happy.
“What about mom?” I was on the verge of tears.
“Your mom and I are over hunny, but you’ll really like April.” He said.
“I’m not going to meet her.” I said harshly.
“The wedding is in a month; of course you’ll be there.”
“No dad, not only do I not want to go, I’ll be on the other side of the world then.” I sounded mean, but why should I care about some slut my dad is marrying.
“What do you mean?”
“Dad, you don’t even pay attention to what I do huh? Well Rachel Marie and Justin Bieber are going on the world tour next week!” I hung up, he didn’t care. Well hopefully April will leave him on his wedding day. Everyone in the car looked at me and I rolled my eyes. “My dad.” I said, Julie and Justin understood but everyone else seemed confused. Julie whispered in Kenny’s ear and then he understood. Ryan and Chaz would be fine without knowing. We pulled up to the Island Def. Jam music studio and we headed into a meeting with Scooter.
“Hey man!” Justin said, doing his handshake thing.
“Scooter!” I said hugging him.
“Hey Rachel. Come here and just sign these papers.” He said getting right to it. I read over the papers and signed. “Now, time to talk tour details.” Justin and I sat next to each other across from Scooter and some other people. The rest of the group waited outside.
“Let’s talk.”
