The sun had just risen when Ty finally finished saddling the three horses, he had prepared his own horse, one of the guards and the princess's personal steed. A little pay back for what she did to Stephanie. The maid was doing well now, she had gone into a joint investment with her friend and purchased an inn. was booming and Stephanie provided entertainment singing and making drinks behind the counter where she didn't need to walk. Ty couldn't help but feel proud for helping her.

He was excited about meeting the two spies, and when he heard footsteps coming around the corner to the stables he could help but making bets in his mind about who it could be. But a wave of panic and fear washed over him as he realised who was actually turning the corner. Princess Evangeline and Amelia in tow.

"Oh! Steve! Excellent! I knew there was a reason I liked you! Look here Amelia! He is like a mind reader! I only felt like a ride this morning and here his is! My horse all brushed and saddled. Perhaps we can make it to the lake now we get to leave a tad earlier!" The Princess exclaimed. Swishing her sparkling yellow dress, Ty had to remind himself what an evil human being she was to snap him out of the trance she had put him under with her sheer beauty.

As she looked at Tyrone, demanding he gave her a boost up, she flicked her hair over one shoulder. Ty got on one knee and latched his hands, she stepped up to her horse as Ty silently cursed the invention of high heels. No matter how many times he reminded her of his name, she insisted he was pulling her leg and his name was Steve. He stood up again, already planning how to get out of this situation. As he turned back, he saw Amelia was already on her horse, not a grey hair out of place.

"Thank you for your praises my lady, I wish you a pleasant trip." While they were out he could scavenge back up supplies, he thought. Thank god the princess was so dim she didn't know two days of food when she saw it.

"Why are you being so slow Steve? Get on your horse. I wish to be off."

"But your majesty, I was-"

"Your Princess just gave you an order. Now shut your gob and move it boy." Amelia snapped. Ty hung his head and climbed on. Praying the two spies would see what had happened and manage to leave by themselves.

Ty spent most of the ride in silence, thinking over and over where he went wrong, and how to fix it. He debated if he should knock out the two women and return for Grimlock's men, but he didn't want to hurt Amelia or the princess, no matter how horrid she had been to him.

"Tyrone, your Princess asked you a question." said Amelia. Ty's head snapped up, and looked ahead to where the princess was ridding. He pushed his horse to catch up, but ride slightly behind Evangeline, as a sign of respect.

"My apologies princess, I was admiring the view." Ty said

"Honestly Steve one would think you were plotting something by the look on your face. I will ask you again, how long have you been working for Grimlock?" she said, her voice calm, like she was asking his age. Ty felt himself grow cold. How did she possibly know?

"I don't know what you could mean Princess, I would never work for a tyrant such as him." He stuttered. I am dead. I am so dead. Not even she would fall for such a cheap lie! But how did she know? He thought.

"Clearly my act of a spoilt idiotic brat was better than I thought if you honestly believed I didn't noticed the supplies on these horses. But honestly Tyrone, you were going to steal my horse? I never did see you as someone who would act out of spite. I should have you hanged for this." Ty went colder still, his feet preparing to kick the horse into full gear and escape while he could.
