Time-travel.

Ito ang pinag-uusapan kanina ng isang crowd sa TurtleCorp.One of them claimed na nag-travel siya pabalik sa kanyang childhood years,bagay na di pinaniwalaan ng kanyang mga kausap until he showed them a set of pictures as evidence.

Pumasok si Max sa kanyang kwarto.Aniya,mas mabuting magpahinga na lang after a day's work kaysa making sa mga nonsense stories.That's a typical of Max Dainen -- a 22-year old who shows great disbelief in such matters.

Nag-ring ang kanyang cellphone.Si Stacy.

"Hello..",kaswal na bungad ni Max sa kausap sa kabilang linya.

"Hello Max,ahmm..punta ka naman muna dito sa room ko...nagloloko pc ko....thanks"

"Ah sige.."

Stacy Anippus.An IE graduate who looks younger than her real age 19.Galing sa middle working class in the metropolis.She was a long-time crush of Max but she's yet to be his sweetie as Stacy chooses to pay more attention to her work at TurtleCorp.More,Max was also taken aback by the fact na may gusto rin kay Stacy ang kanyang bestfriend na si Brant Sanchez.About two years older than him,Brant displays a cool personality and thinks and acts like a genius.That makes him Dr.Grimbald's favorite apprentice.

Kumatok si Max sa pinto."Stacy?.."

"Uy Max..",ani Stacy matapos pagbuksan ang lalake."Nag-o-auto restart ung computer ko..patulong naman"

"Sure..basta ikaw..",sabay pa-cute looks.

Tiningnan nya ang computer nito.Analyzed where the problem was and after some minutes,he told Stacy na kailangang i-reformat ang pc nito dahil may virus.

"May virus pc mo.."

"Ah..san kaya nanggaling?"

"Siguro sa mga DL's mo..did you make downloads from untrusted sites?"

Saglit na nag-isip si Stacy."Ah...oo yung Price Tag in mp3 format...dun ba?"

"Yup.Hidden kaya di na-detect ng Avira Anti-virus mo..reformat na lang natin..don't worry wala namang mawawala sa mga files nito..may back-up copies na.."

Tumango lang si Stacy.For a while,she thought na buti na lang at nandyan si Max kundi tiyak magagastusan pa siya ng malaki if she'll call a technician to do the work.

"Bibili lang ako ng snacks ha.."

Tango lang ang ibinigay sa kanya ni Max,who's now busy in re-formatting her computer.Matagal-tagal na rin siyang nabakante sa specialty niyang ito lalo pa't ngayong nasa TurtleCorp na siya.His daily work is designing infrastucture and its interior kaya naninibago siya ngayon.

After 25 minutes,Stacy is back...carrying a bucket of chicken fillets and two coke-in-cans.

"Sakto..".Max claimed as he restarted her computer."Ayos na yan..di na yan mag-rerestart".

"Thanks a lot,Max...by the way, tara meryenda muna tayo."

Habag kumakain sila,napag-usapan nila ang buhay sa loob ng TurtleCorp.

"So how do you find TurtleCorp?"

"Seriously,a bit isolated yet a great corporation.and with a P300-per-day salary rate..it's way better than be under contractual employment in factories...kaw?"

"Same din..kaya lang minsan talagang nakakamiss..para kasing layu-layo mo sa mga loveones mo..Sa isang buwan,twice ka lang makakalabas to take a break with them.."

Owning a gigantic lot area of hundreds square meters,Turtle Corporation is like a self-governing city-state.May sariling postal system,may sariling radio broadcasting,may community halls,may malls.Everything for the people.It may seem so isolated but it was fun that people here don't feel that they are on work.

"Syangapala..si Brant?",Stact interrupted.

"hmm..baka kasama na naman ni Dr.Grimbald sa basement lab...dun lagi sila pag gantiong oras"

"Ah...Little Grimbald na nga ang tawag sa kanya dito.."

Sa lahat ng mga apprentice at Class C employees sa TurtleCorp,si Brant lang ang may access sa treasured basement laboratory.He shows a great inclination into science and technology.Recently he designed a warship that uses pure solar energy and community-friendly that impressed TurtleCorp's president Nimrod Aneiro.

Sa sarap ng kanilang kwentuhan,di namalayan ni Max ang pagdalaw ng antok sa kanya at nakatulog na sa kwarto ni Stacy.

"Gising na Max.."

"Huh?",napabalikwas si Max sa higaan."Dito ba ako nakatulog?"

"Yup"

"Pagod ko kasi--"

"Uy",yaya ni Stacy kay Max na umaaktong bubuksan ang pinto ng kwarto."Kape ka muna".

"Ahm..no thanks na lang..may sked pa ko sa taas by 7",answered Max before getting lost outside.

Nagpalusot na lang si Max.May nararamdaman kasi siyang kakaibang pagod na nakukuha lang after a "green activity".May nangyari ba sa kanila ni Stacy kagabi?

Probably.

Pero naalala niya ang favorite line ni Stacy sa mga dati niyang manliligaw na sobrang "feeling".

"ilusyon mo lang yun..."

Baka nga ilusyon nya lang yun.Baka talagang pagod lang siya kahapon due to the load of work he'd done.

So as good as not happening.
