ch. 5

Trigger Warning: Violence

The sun beams through the open window, touching the perfect pale body of Lauren Jauregui. The green eyed girl grunts and stretches her limbs before smile to herself. 'Camila Cabello is my girlfriend.' She sigh and turn to face the tan skinned girl but gasps when she sees that the spot was empty.

Shooting from the bed and trying to control her breathing, Lauren can feel a small panic attack beginning in her chest. But soon stops freaking out when she sees the open window and a pair of dangling shoes.

She face palms before letting out a few puffs of air. The green eyed girl makes her way to the open window and looks out to the roof. She sees the small Cuban with her eyes closed and slowly realizes that she's sleeping. Lauren shakes her head with a small smile and carefully pulls herself out of the window. She slowly makes her way to the brown eyed girl and smiles widely at the fact that she look so relaxed and peaceful.

Lauren sits next to the sleeping girl, trying not to wake her up, and stares at her features. Camila looks so young and carefree, this reminds Lauren of the old times. But her smile drops when she recalls the problems they both faced and pain she had caused the the small Cuban. Back when they were younger and she didn't want to accept her feelings towards the brown eyed girl.

"Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony is rumored to be dating Bradley Simpson from the Vamps. Aren't they a cute couple." Camila stares at the video with teary-eyes before wiping them off when she hears someone moving outside her bunk. She jumps when her curtain is pulled open and she stares at bright and happy green eyes.

"Hey Camz, guess where I just came back from. Brad took me out on this date and it was so magical and beautiful." Lauren states dreamy not catching the broken look she got from the small Cuban. Camila harshly pushes Lauren out of her way and walks out of the bus, with a confused girl following behind her.

"Why don't you talk to me anymore, Camz? You haven't talked to me since management decided it was best to stay away from each other in public. Did I do something wrong?" A seventeen year old Lauren asks the small brown eyed girl who had stopped walking.

Lauren waits patiently for the girl to say at least one word to her but she doesn't get any. "I just want to talk to you about my feeling and all the things I do during the day. But most importantly I want to talk to you like we would before. Just talk to me."

"Why don't you like when the fans mention Camren? Would it be a bad thing to like me like that? Am I not good enough for you?" Camila mumbles and her voice cracked at the end. She was tired and didn't know what she was saying to the green eyed girl anymore.

"What?!" Lauren pushes the guilt aside and stare at her in shock. Camila shakes her head and runs away from the dark haired girl that kept yelling her name. Lauren stares at the girl until she can no longer see her figure.

Weeks pass and now it was Lauren who was avoiding the brown eyed girl. To say this didn't hurt Camila even more would be an understatement.

Lauren doesn't even notice when the tears started to run down her cheeks. She desperately wipes them away and turns to watch the sun rise higher in the sky. Unconsciously, she reaches for Camila's hand, and starts to rub her thumb against the tanned palm.

"Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have made a duet called, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and let's just say it's an amazing song. Those two are great together and rumors has it that they're dating." Lauren turns the radio off after hearing the new of her so called band mate and that stupid white boy's duet. She can't believe Camila wrote a song with that idiot and didn't have the audacity to inform the rest of her band members. But Camila had told them, but the green eyed girl wasn't paying attention.
