The rest of the school day was alright.

If by alright you mean seeing Riley in almost every other class but two and every hallway I went through. Every time I happen to glance his direction...hes looking right back at me. I would blush red and look down or try to make it look discrete by scratching the back of my neck. I swear its creepy but...I kinda like it.

It was finally the end of the day and since it's Friday, I don't have to go see the ba--shit...I forgot about the project...dang it...I don't know what it is about him but he makes me think and feel things I've never felt. I sigh, thinking about it, and close my locker only to find him right behind it. I jump and hold up an arm as a defense blushing brick red.

"No need for the karate. I was just going to say hey. You rushed out almost every period before I could catch up to you," he said while taking a step towards me. I take a step back, making sure I have enough space between us.

"S-sorry...I...I wasn't meaning to...," I blush. "I-I have to go...bye!" I quickly spin around and walk away. Soon enough I hear his footsteps follow close behind. This boy sure is persistent.

He grabs my arm and spins me around. "Look, I'm sorry for making you feel weird earlier...I wasn't meaning anything to harm you. I just wanted a friend to talk to on my first day. It's kinda hard switching schools and all," he scratched the back of his head and blushed slightly. Wait...he's blushing?!

I decide to try and at least talk to him. He is new. I fully understand where he's coming from. "I-its okay. I'm sorry I kept rushing out. It's just no one talks to me or if they do its in a harmful way. What I'm trying to say is...its not normal for someone to talk to me here and I guess I just...panicked." There I said it...I panicked and ran away. Typical me.

He chuckled and smiled that big, goofy grin of his. "Well...how about we take you up on your deal and meet up around my house at about say...6:30? My parents wouldn't mind...I always bring friends over to study."

"Um okay...I guess that's alright...I'll swing the idea by my dad."

"Great! Here's my number. Just text me when you are ready and I will text you my address!"

I take the paper from his hands and see a number on it and his name. I couldn't help but smile at how cute his handwriting is.

"Ah! my mom's here...well I better get going...see you around 6:30!" he kisses my cheek and heads over to his mom waving goodbye.

I blush, holding the cheek he kissed and wave a little back at him. Once the car and him are out of sight, I slide down to the ground still holding my cheek.

H-he kissed my cheek...why would he d-do that?

These thoughts kept running in my head over and over. I finally check the time after a while on my watch. Shit....It's 4:30 already?!?! I better get home before my dad does or he will kill me!

I quickly get up and sprint home, The thoughts still racing in my mind.
