Lost

In my days upon this Earth, upon this glorious Earth,

And in the hours I've spent awake, now, and since my birth,

And in the hours I've spent asleep, amongst the stars and sky,

And in the hours of twilight, where beside you I lie,

I cannot help but notice how the time begins to slow,

and how I can't help but follow any which place you go.

And in those hours of following, and of you leading on,

I'd stay for hours and hours, I'd sit from dusk til dawn,

So in my days upon this Earth, I find one statement true:

My greatest days have been the ones that I've spent lost with you.
