Boldstar licked his paws as Orangelight leaned on his shoulder," The kits are so big." She mewed dryly as she stared i
at the playing kits. " Yes, yes... How many moons old again," Boldstar fretted. His mate looked off," Just three moons." Boldstar nodded and moved away, letting the cold air consume Orangelight with a shiver," Boldstar!"
Boldstar turned around," What?"
" Whats wrong? You seem tense..." She meowed and stood beside him.
He shook his head and moved away," ShadowClan... I think they might return. Knowing we are weak. They destroyed are herb supply and many warriors like Rosewillow, are still healing! She is one... One Of our best fighters." Orangelight blinked, and thought; He doesn't have feelings for her, does he?
She shook her head and nuzzled him," They wouldn't attack! My love, they know we still have strong fighters, and kits soon to become apprentices." Boldstar sat down and looked at the camp entrance," Yes yes... Did you see that?" Orangelight padded infront of him," Its nothing..." She mewed snd starred closer.
Out came from the thorn barrier Mudstep, Spottedbreeze, Rosewillow and Jaggedpaw, they were all carrying prey," A successful hunt!" Rosewillow mewed, A rabbit and a robin hanging from her jaws. Jaggedpaw proudly was bonding to the Fresh-kill pile with his two black birds. Mudstep and Spottedbreeze headed to the nursery, each holding two mice. Rosewillow brung her prey to Orangelight and Boldstar. Boldstar dipped his head and sighed," Thank you, Rosewillow... How are your wounds?" He glanced at her cut up belly and ripped ear. She smiled," Don't worry! I feel great!" The she-cat padded away into the warriors den to rest for the afternoon. Her gaze was relaxed as he watched the pretty she-cat pad away. Orangelight quickly leaned on him and wrapped her tail around his," Isn't today a breezeful morning?" Boldstar licked her head and purred, eyeing the warriors den," Yea...." He mewed bitterly. Oranglelight jabbed her claws into his side," Boldstar?!" Boldstar hissed, and pounced into the air and landed on his mate, clawing her chest. Orangelight clawed the leaders neck and got up. " Boldstar!" She teared up," What do you think your doing!" Blood welled up on her cheek. Boldstar opened his mouth and said nothing, looked at the blood drip onto the ground. He turned around and fled into the leaders den. Orangelight limped into the warriors den," K-kits?" Brightkit was laying in her mothers nest, alseep. Stormkit and his sibling, and Nettlekit were all sleeping in Songstream's nest. Orangelight sighed and padded to the medicine cat den. " Ravenfeather, I need help...."
